If The Aces has been winning the curfew would have gone out of the window. :nono:

Problem with HT8 was Dimitri gated. He couldn’t buy a point away from home up to that point but hitting the front is all that’s required at Poole sadly. I could probably get a result if I started well enough.

The sheer frustration for Nico and Richie due to not being able to pass on the Poole track led to the unfortunate incident.

Two points for Poole though and that’s  all that matters down there.

What total rubbish and by the way we got 3 points!

Because it was announced at the stadium last night..

I’m guessing was announced due to halt in proceedings, just seen it was already agreed before which I’d assume then means it was a special reason. So I’m guessing again that this isn’t the usual deadline as others have pointed out Poole have ridden longer than that.

Some curfews are often used to suit the promoters. I had two dubious ones last season. A 10pm at Eastbourne, one meeting this year has already hit the 10.40 mark. A 10.15 at Rye House, when the previous meeting went on an hour later. At least at Kent everyone knows it's 8.30.

I’d agree I’m sure there is a maximum curfew at most tracks. Wolves I know have gone past 11 with some of the British finals.

Maybe they are allowed longer when the youngsters are out after..

why were you informed personally ?????????????? or were you in pits  to hear this ????????????? NO

The 10.15 curfew was announced before the racing restarted when both teams were 24 points each not before the meeting so both teams had equal opportunity to win the meeting.

I can assure you MMX would have been informed personally and possibly during one of his many visits to the pits...yes, yes, yes.....

Idiot is a term of endearment so don't know what you're talking about. If I was going to dish out some personal abuse it would be a bit stronger than that. But I'll turn it down for you sensitive souls out there :)

Odd reply to say the least. Anyway, i'm off to work.

At some tracks the curfew is a voluntary one, and at others it is compulsory. Wolverhampton have a voluntary curfew which they will occasionally extend if there is just the odd race left to run, but at Birmingham, the 10pm curfew is a condition of the planning permission, as also is the ban on the use of air horns.

Why was the Weymouth meeting running after 10.30 the other week?

It’s fair to say each track may have a different curfew time depending on planning approval, Poole obviously have a flexible arrangement to suit themselves for when they want to pull a meeting.! I may be over suspicious but knowing the way the club operates, at 24-24 and 2 riders down it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that the paramedic was told to not rush back,  just a thought!

Biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard! The promotion would have tried to call it off after H8 if they were that worried about it.
