drew2
Seen three Poole meetings now this season* and at no point of any of them can I ever recall Nicolai Klindt passing an opponent after bend two lap one! Fair play the lad can trap though and I guess that pays the bills. *and a few last season too

When he first signed for Workington, I pointed out to a number of friends that he was the type of rider, who would probably a near identical average in any division, due to quick equipment and strength from the gate, plus deficiency in doing pretty much anything else. Sort the track out before someone gets seriously hurt. Hang on a minute we might have played crap, but we have a decent stadium and the pitch is perfect with no bumps

It don't need a Poole fan to see that Starry. Edited June 17, 2019 by Bald Bloke

If the racing was better and I was able to get home a bit earlier afterwards I might pop along a little more often but as it is it’s once in s blue moon at Lynn for me as it just doesn’t feel worth £18. It’s a pity as I hardly missed a meeting for thirty odd years. Edited June 17, 2019 by Bagpuss

It was a poor crowd nobody can deny that and the track was awful.
GiveusaB
Is BT Sport helping the demise of speedway ??? Surely Tattum/Pearson and the other so called experts know what a poor race track Wimborne road is? yet they still decide to televise there, when they could have easily gone to Kings Lynn for a local derby match....surely the atmosphere and the racing would have been better from an entertainment spectacle? Popular Post Odds On
if ever you needed to see just how speedway is spiralling downwards in the UK then last night was a prime example of it. Very small crowd with the average age above at least 45. Track an absolute disgrace. Little in the way of entertainment. Not one GP/World Class rider on show. As a spectacle and as a advert for the sport it probably did more harm than good. 10
BobC
I popped along for my first meeting at Poole this season. Not a classic by any means. Little atmosphere or enthusiasm. Id estimate the crowd to be around the 1000 mark. Poor by Poole standards. As for the track, I have seen far worse this season elsewhere! Heard from one of the track guys that they put down the last 3 digger buckets of shale they had left. I thought it was common knowledge that the track work was starting today? Clearly lots of work to be done before the next home meeting. Ive got more than my fingers crossed that they get it right. The only real positive for me was seeing lots of friends that I havent seen for a while. .
