Been much better for all concerned if Poole/Swindon was staged on Monday: a day when the top division has priority. But not if Poole think GF will deliver a much better crowd.... There will be absolutely loads of contrived nonsense meetings with riders coming in from all parts of the country, and elsewhere, to earn a few extra quid representing other teams than their own through the season.. So one more contrived meeting isn't going to make any difference to the sports credibility, and if the bank balance proves it was worth doing then that is all that matters.. Promoters know that all credibility has been lost a long time ago, so they might as well run on the best days they can to get the best return... When the Fixtures came out Birmingham were away at Eastbourne on Good Friday at 3pm. Poole decided to run an "off PL day" so face the consequences, well done for once to the BSPA for playing fair. Nothing to do with rules .know need to shout. I just ask the question why Eastbourne could have started a couple of hours later that's all

dump that clutch
should be a close one today, if last night's meeting is anything to go by.

Bagpuss
Any rider who misses a championship fixture on a championship race day because they were riding in a premiership fixture should receive a ban and only be replaced by a three pointer during that period.

The simple answer is to keep the Premiership to Monday’s and Thursdays and Championship to the others, no clashes or double up problems, most bank holidays are on Monday’s so what’s the problem. Basic common sense to me

cityrebel
Good friday is traditionally such a big payday, I'm sure they'd rather run with a few absentees.
