'Press and Practice Day'....surely, a bit hollow these days, with the state of British speedway currently. I realise I sound negative, but Press and Practice Day sounds like a season launch, for a sport which is healthy and going places! When, as we know, it's in trouble, sadly. :(

Peterborough Wednesday March 27.

The club’s official introduction takes place at 11am followed by the team photograph session led by media representatives.

It is then hoped to have the riders on track by 2pm.

Boss Carl Johnson said: “Everyone is welcome and it would be nice to see a good turnout although we realise it may not be possible for those who will be at work.

“Food and refreshment will be available from one of the catering outlets at the Arena and the team will receive their official 2019 Panthers race suit.

“This will be the very first opportunity to see the new Panthers team ahead of our return to top division racing. I’m very excited by the months ahead.”
