I have a couple of FB groups and while I may disagree with some opinions have never blocked a member although in some instances have deleted a Post - but very few. We’ve been here before John. I said I don’t do FB speedway groups. Find them boring and repetitive, quite like yourself really. But I said it was started by someone you upset on Terry Mussetts group, that he always seems to wear red and yellow and goes by some name with Womble in it. Plus he was among the photos Steve Hone put up from the speedway museum celebration. I can’t give you any more clues than I did last time It is very difficult having a debate with someone who has the memory of a fly. As for Barry Butterworth, I stand by my assertion that the average member of the NZ public wouldn't know who he is. A much more reasonable assertion in my view than a retired speedway journalist claiming not to recognise Ivan Mauger (who coincidentally, the average member of the NZ public would recognise) or Plechanov (top rider in an era he worked at the speedway star). This thread has been very disappointing for me , Norbold who i respect as much as anybody in the speedway world that I have ever met has been swayed by Chunky.Look i have made endless mistakes and have admitted it over a period ! Chunky ( Chunky who??? ) sits it out and returns when it suits.The forum has run its course for me to be honest, so disappointed with Norbold ok i am wrong/ Gustix is wrong but your loyalty to Chunky who is not particularly nice ( or a saint) is pretty sickening. Please Sidney the robin: don't take action you will later regret. I tolerate - to a certain extent!!! iris123 but have no real idea why he has maintained a near 10 year vendetta against me. Like yourself I have the utmost difficulty in coming to terms with chunky and tend to support your comment to a large extent. Norbold I respect most on the BSF and various Facebook forums. He is far too experienced from his worklife and now retirement to react in a bitter way to comments on a forum. I am not so sure the forum is as you say dying. It has far too many members for that to happen in the immediate future. A study of what the BSF provides - so many themes and responses - and a large membership - ensures it will be active for a very long time.
