Of these riders, possibly only Eric Chitty and Jimmy Gibb can be recognised as world class? George Pepper was probably on the verge of that status but sadly died in a wartime flying accident. Guest Posted February 11, 2019 Report Share Posted February 11, 2019 A leading rider for many seasons in domestic Canadian racing was Len Dillon, winner of several Canadian Championships. Dillon tends to be overlooked I presume because he never raced in Britain. However, and I stand to be corrected, I think he rode with some success in either the 1980s or 1990s in Sweden.
