Skidder1 Posted January 23, 2019 Report Share Posted January 23, 2019 (edited) Fixtures are always announced towards the end of January - especially this year with the season not starting for some til April. Promoters have had the draft list for a couple of weeks to recommend any changes to try to avoid any rider clashes with any fixtures elsewhere. Never take any notice of the nonsense fixture list that comes out preseason. I do have to chuckle every year when fans complain about fixture changes because they've prebooked hotels. People never learn. Also, when it comes to the Showground, you can never trust it's owners as they change dates whenever they feel like it.
