2ndbendbeerhut
Example... Rider A is approached by either Peterborough or Ipswich. And a deal is agreed in principle. Rathbone or Louis then talks to Buster to ask if ok. Buster agrees but in next few days informs Rathbone or Louis that Rider A is available to the other one if they want as nothing is signed. So a deal is then agreed at the other club or Busters no 1 club ... Kings Lynn. So then Peterborough or Ipswich then have to start again.... not as though Kings Lynn , Ipswich or Peterborough would be offering anymore money would it? And leaves Peteborough or Ipswich with leftovers..... Is this likely to occur?

waytogo28
More than likely - Yes! What Buster wants, Buster gets. History tells us that.

Arch Stanton
The truth is that NOBODY on here knows. We don’t know to what extent their business relation is. The deal with Peterborough could be totally different from the deal he has with Ipswich. We know Louis has insisted on certain clauses and has a buy back option, we haven’t heard of anything similar with Peterborough. One Lynn fan told us on here not to expect any rider announcements this side of Christmas, it’s the Buster way. And yet Peterborough have just announced two and we’re looking to reveal the full 7 before Christmas! Nobody knows exactly what details are involved with this so called “commercial” deal.
Rickyb
What a load of rubbish moaning about things that haven't even happened and not likely to happen. If it does happen THEN have a good old moan

scoobydoo
Would be interesting if MPT wants to ride at Peterborough but Kings Lynn want him to ride for them, do they offer him more to join Lynn or is he treating all three teams the same financially may come down to sponsors money Edited December 6, 2018 by scoobydoo
Cupidstunt
you would hope so, its his money in the 3 clubs
2ndbendbeerhut
So Buster will offer a rider more to ride for team A than Buster has already offered to ride for team B? Very much doubt it... Might depend on which club is more local to the rider....
stevebrum
The riders will go where they want, it’s been this way for sometime.

89buttons
Would like to hope those put in charge to manage each club are given a budget to work to based on previous years books, attendances etc. And then it’s on them to manage their clubs accordingly, otherwise surely the conflict of interest is just simply farcical beyond belief and will swiftly become an untenable situation!?

T.N.T.
DOES BUSTER CONTROL THINGS ? ....... YES However there are a number of ways that things need clearing up or addressing especially as one man now owns three out of seven clubs in one league. Firstly in all AGMs be it Industrial, Unions, Sports etc when it comes to voting, the Chairman doesn't get a vote unless its tied and he then gets the casting vote, but in speedway he gets three out ofseven votes and therefore only needs one to tag the same line to get what he wants. VOTING - Why in a AGM do they split into different rooms to vote. the meeting is for PROMOTERS of British Speedway and not one Premiership and one Championship the should all get a vote on all issues. As it is Buster and a few buddies go into a room and vote on issues Buster wants and with a few mates gets whatever the select four or five want regardless of what the sport wants or needs. The sport had a great chance of rebuilding here and give fans more meetings, more variety and more affordable for all but with a few notes being handed over to buy clubs it was never going to happen as suddenly there was a different seven voting but the result stays the same and nothing changes and we are still getting ready for just six opponents to visit over and over again with just 12 home league matches over an entire season of 28 weeks. 1

Much better that than having Championship clubs outvoting the Premiership at every opportunity!!

Don't seem like his 2 new clubs(for now) are getting the left overs with the Panthers and Ippo reported to be pretty much complete. Looks like Lynn might have the leftovers at this rate, or certainly not all the best riders Hoping for a good 2019, with some good battles 1
