ProudtobeaBrummie
The question is should Laurence "whats the point it makes no difference " Rogers be Team Manager in 2020 ? As the Majority of people have said nice guy but tactically woeful . How to vote is; Like= New manager Sad = LR to remain in 2020. 2
Col
Aarnio hasn't ridden for Krakow in Poland today, any one heard anything?
The Dog
I was told that Aarnio had ordered a special cast for last Wednesday to help his wrist but it hadn't arrived, so he went with heavy strapping. He did have a fall at Birmingham and again a few nights later, maybe its a new injury or an aggravation of his wrist problem? Talking of Wednesday, I thought Garrity was outstanding for someone who'd just come back from injury, struggled out of the gate early on but soon found the dirt and produced the fastest time at PB this season, twice I believe. I do think Agertoft is getting there slowly, gave Harris a good run for his money and deserved a few more points. Remember he is 17 and on his first venture to England. Good to see so many families with kids around, especially on the centre green, and credit to the promotion for trying to reach out to more people. Track was good and I'm told there is more shale on the way.

I don't think it will matter what 'fans' vote for....Peter/David are extremely happy with LR in charge of team affairs.... I'd like to think that as nice as Lawrence is......with a bit of luck, he'll stand down and let someone else have a go next season?

No team changes are allowed after 28th August with an effective date of 31st August. i.e. BSPA must be notified by 28th August of any changes which will become effective 72 hours later on the 31st. This rule applies irrespective of whether a rider has a serious injury or not. If someone is injured after 28th August then it is a guest facility or rider replacement depending on which facility is allowed under the regulations. Drury unpopular but knows how to win. Will Pottinger . I do not who is out there and available tbh. Preferably someone who is clued up and isn't there to make friends .

I think Davey is really settled working with Craig Cook atm , Drury I'm not sure is looking to get involved again. Pottinger is an interesting one tho, always seems successful albeit at NL level. Not a lot out there as there never seems to anyone wanting to get involved in management. Takes an awful lot of time out of your working week too. I think LR is more than happy to work within a budget tho, and gets satisfaction in finding new riders and getting them into teams, so is quite easy to work with for a promotor. StephenMiller
Anyone know what has happened to the club website - no longer seems to be working?

GD would be a great choice, but I can't see him coming out of retirement. However, I do think it's hypothetical because of LR's relationship with the 'Masons'!? I can get the "independent" (and actually far better ones) like Glasgow; Poole and Eastbourne to work fine but the off the shelf AP ones like ours have problems. See post from Osirian08 - format is now birmingham-speedway.com - that works fine for me.
