Did Mondays greyhound meeting take place?

of course it did and this is why things don't add up.

the only area it would seem there is an issue, if there is an issue is speedway Pits - a simple generator or a simple electrical re-wire from parts of the stadium that are OK would solve the issue.

The Dogs have full catering and restaurant open, so a far greater electrical load as most of it is closed on speedway nights.

I'm no electrician but a hare rail surely no more load than a starting gate?,

I should have bought a Lottery Ticket.

As transparent trying to con the supporter base goes this one is crystal clear.

Lost all respect now for the Masons. If they have made a mistake moving up, they should come out and admit it and seek help.

To screw over their own diminishing supporter base will be the final straw for many.

Not good and I'm totally disillusioned.

I have pop to ask, how many more Wednesday's will Adam Ellis be unavailable for, and is he a cheap signing to cover over cracks?

There will be possibly method in this madness..

We obviously don't know if Adam Ellis is riding in Denmark tomorrow, (but he might as well now!)

However..

When (if?) Adam Ellis rides for Brum, will it mean any clashes previously booked pre him signing will be covered by a facility?

If so, given his average virtually EVERY rider in the Championship will be able to guest for him on a horses for courses/ringer basis..

Obviously I don't understand the rules so may be wrong (but then again who does?)...

It is 2.20pm on a Tuesday when I type so it might have changed anyway by the time I send this..:D

I presume the Brum promotion would be aware of any possible clashes before offering him a contract? Otherwise why sign someone who will possibly already be elsewhere at times, unless some tactical advantage?

Pity they don't have a back up generator...

That could have ran out of diesel...:D

This Once great club  is now run by a buffoon by the name of Lawrence Rogers,  Yes the dog meeting took place last night,  having rang the stadium up today and asked if there was any problems with the electricity I was politely informed no comment, yes Adam Ellis is riding in Denmark tomorrow

Birmingham speedway hold your head in shame.

Doesn't really matter what time Dog Racing happened, it happened and I too have called Stadium this afternoon and have had a similar "no comment".

It stinks and I agree 100% with previous poster, if they had told the truth, it would have caused a day of social media moans but would have been forgotten, this is a different level of excuse that just does not stack up.

We could have Teams re-declaring and signing riders just to get a Guest for a vital match.

Which is pretty much what every team gets when they sign the No1 rider in the league..

If he isn't there as 'already booked up' then you can have who you want to replace him, short of any of that nights opposition riders, or how recently you have used others.

Track specialists galore to choose from..

And that is in itself an utter farce....

But that's what Speedway (in Britain) steadfastly allows and will never consider changing...

And then wonders why stadiums are not packed with people colluding with it to take it seriously...

Hope the electric gets fixed..

Be very very interesting to see if the SCB make an official enquire into this and report the outcome

Loads of tracks have pulled fast ones over the years and got away with it. I know Belle Vue got punished for the hose pipe fiasco, but that is an exception to the rule. You had Eastbourne with the 'stolen' generators and last season Mildenhall refusing to turn up for an away match. Most of these incidents are swept under the carpet and quickly forgotten. The long suffering fans just get used to it.

It’s just another unlucky coincidence, rain offs ,sun offs, hose pipe offs, rider missing offs, nothing new..Next it will be missing fans offs.:(
