The youth and enthusiasm is clearly evident along with some ability but is it a matter of time until there are issues? Its not acceptable (just entertaining) when there is a bit of handbags after a race or after a rider is brought down by a reckless move but if one of the riders is 15 it opens up a whole bag of trouble that it shouldn't as all riders on track should be equally accountable for their actions. The child protection laws are getting tighter and tighter, i assume the Thompsons and others all change separately to the main team or have appropriate adults present. Change separately? Appropriate adult? Think you will find the club will say the ' appropriate adult ' was a fellow team mate as very few clubs have taken the legal steps to ensure compliance with the regulations. When I asked the S.C.B. Officer in charge What level of training the child protection officer would require to take up such a post the reply was " you just need to put someone's name in the programme, doesn't matter about training" Thats how seriously he who should know better took it, especially for the role he holds within the speedway set up, but as is frequently said in this forum " that's speedway for you!".

Talking of his shirts I'm sure Scott would have rather been riding in a championship semi against Redcar on Saturday night rather than having to sit in a studio as a Speedway pundit

Happy Hunter
According to the BSPA and Kent websites the first leg of the play off against Kent will be at Kent on Monday, 14th October at 6.30 p.m..
Sings4Speedway
Due to the wonderful decisions to run the play off so late in the season its quite possible the the Cubs could be without Perks for the biggest meeting of their season......and the governing bodies wonder why fans get fed up. Is that the Premiership play-off final date?

Will definitely be a fixture on Monday (weather dependent). Swindon win its at Ipswich and Perks would be there. Should Wolves win then its at Wolverhampton but either way we have play off final vs televised play off final.
Barrow Boy 2
Danny Woodward now joins The Cubs. No previous BNL experience but highly regarded after a season in The Midland & Southern Development League. He is 28 and an experienced Motocross competitor and has been to Leicester several times to practice.

I've tried the Carmarthen website and Live Updates (and speedway researcher) Edited December 24, 2019 by False dawn

Bit like Danny Ayres was ex mx had talent but very raw as opposed to the other two names that out scored him there that really aren’t going to do anything more than they’re
GWC
Unlike other sports age shouldn’t be a barrier to competing especially as you need some financial clout behind you. Joe Alcock seems to be highly rated especially by Newcastle.

Last season Carmarthen rode their home fixtures at Stoke. Danny did not ride in all the home meetings. For away meeting scores you will need to find out who they rode and when.
