Not ideal is it but maybe UK promotors can work around any Thursday a rider from there club is needed in Sweden. We must have some weeks were a club will not race. 2ndbendbeerhut
Both Ipswich and Swindon have always ridden on Thursday so would assume they would continue to do so. Poole and Kings Lynn will move from Wednesday., but to where? Same goes with Peterborough. Belle Vue and Wolves ride Monday so no issues for them.... Lot would depend on who would get priority? Sweden or GB?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
GB has priority for Thursdays - full stop!

BuxtonTiger
why are Sweden allowed to schedule Thursday's or are we the only country that actually believe that fixed nights exist? Exactly who has agreed to fixed nights, can anyone tell when the meeting between GB, Sweden, Poland and Denmark took place of are we all being told a load of rubbish? Because anyone can race on any day but only one country has priority on each day. Sweden can race on Thursdays but PL (& if necessary CL) have priority. Wasnt it only the Premiership granted priority for Thursdays rather than British Speedway If so the Championship would still follow the previous rules - nationality of rider , original/rearranged fixture etc
racers and royals
It`s all very well having priority on Thursday`s but as i posted on the Swindon thread it`s going to need a carefully worked out Premiership fixture list not to pi$$ the riders off who ride Sweden and GB. It seems like the Swedish teams have 4/5 Thursday dates(see edit below). It is generally accepted that Swedish pay rates are around double the UK so riders will not be happy missing Swedish league matches !! Riders that could be effected are Thorssell Doyle Lambert Fricke J Holder Masters Batchelor Kurtz Woryna Klindt Tungate NKI Bjerre Edit just checked the teams Thursday`s matches and they are all over the place !!! 2 Smederna and Vastervik 4 Masarna,Indianerna,Rospiggarna, Vetlanda and Dackarna 5 Piraterna and Lejonen Edited November 28, 2018 by racers and royals

Happy to take your word for it Alan I just had in the back of my mind that I had seen a document posted somewhere re the priority and that only the Premiership was quoted

f-s-p
Think you need to remember that the ISL agreement was for 2018 and who knows what happens for 2019. What I do know is that there wont be a free weekend for FMN championship finals in 2019 like there was for 2018.

krompa
Hello guys can't find any information regarding Elitserien TV coverage for 2019 season. Is Cmore back? Or still streaming pay per view the only source? 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) to cover more live matches on TV?

Maybe Ghostie might have heard something. I will be taking out the monthly subscription to Speedway play again in 2019 if it carries on. We might have to wait until nearer the season to hear if increased matches will be made available to UK and Poland( will Premier/freesports and Eleven in Poland still have the contract?) for the Thursday matches.

Rob Dyer
Interesting comment from Matt Ford at Wednesday’s Forum. Swedish Cup meetings on a Thursday have priority over UK whereas Swedish League matches don’t. He said one of the Ippo v Poole meetings would clash with Swedish Cup with Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder both needed in Sweden and he was hoping Chris Louis could find an alternative date. Bavarian
Is there a Swedish Cup competition at all? Don't think so!
