Do people just write anything on here and treat it as fact, how much are Glasgow offering does anyone actually know I don't. not according to the man who was paying, Reading had already advanced him money for equipment and wrote that off, your man was topping up the points money and paying the air fares on the occasions he flew up from Heathrow.

Endeavour
Agree Glasgow seems to be in firing line here because they do pay more and with staggered signing on fees over season. If say Monarchs or Redcar got taken over by owners with a business turnover of an estimated 118 million they would be ones folk having a pop at. Thought 38 point limit would have brought some sense to sport but looks like a GP 2018 rider will still ride second tier which for Craig makes financial sense but could create an imbalance in their team. I am a great Cookie fan and will spit feathers if he signs for Tigers but at the end of the day he gave great service to Monarchs and money talks. Just stop giving us this tosh about how professional Glasgow are. Sometimes you get a warmer welcome in the small corner shops than you do at the 24 hour Tesco’s. At least we have a limit that every team has to adhere to whether you are a Prince or a Pauper . Gazc
I heard sarj was invoiced every time he demolished the tapes. He ended up paying us £30 per point once it was offset. Came from someone at the bingo on Friday.

Don't have a problem with Glasgow paying riders exactly what they want, just don't come out in the Speedway Star moaning you are losing money and things can't continue as they are.

H20
Glasgow say 2019 could be the last year they could take £100,000 losses. We need to see which riders they have signed but my guess will be new riders all on top money again with massive bonus payments again all cherry picked from other clubs by dangling massive signing fees again. That's the only reason why I don't want Glasgow to win anything at all. They are great fans but I'm not into this fantasy speedway team building. 2
