Just looking forward to this weekend first. Poole did that with Coventry in 2010 and look what happened there.
Chris116
Leicester must rate as top club of the year in UK Speedway. Top of the league in both the Championship and the National Development Leagues. We'll done to the Lions and the Cubs.
HGould
Not sure Leicester would pick Somerset with Schlein, Harris; Covatti and Morris now in the side and Schlein a bit of a track specialist at leicester and Harris / Covatti / Morris in good form too. On current form Glasgow look the one to pick, but if Starke returns from injury & comes back into the side that puts a different complexion on it. As ever injuries will have a big part to play, it would be nice if all 4 teams were at full strength & which guest Lions can get for Richie Worrall ( if he isn't returning). A few of the regular guest's that they have used this season now won't be available because of average changes & injuries & also you can't use guests from the other play-off sides. I just hope that the amount of guest bookings Douglas & to a lesser extent, Perks, are getting doesn't result in an injury before the play-offs start.

1 valve
Stewart Dickson has done a great job this year and we can be sure he will continue to do so in terms of who he selects as semi final opponents. Obviously there are no easy matches come the playoffs but as League Winners the Lions will be the team the other playoff contenders will want to avoid. With SD ensuring zero complacency from within the team a case of respecting all and fearing none will barring a run of bad luck see the Championship come to Leicester. Now off to count my chickens!! It's looking like Worrall will be riding for the Lions on many occasions over the next few weeks. The question is, which one?? My money is on Steve. If it's to be a guest at Eastbourne on Saturday, is Broc Nicol worth a punt??
Andrew
Broc will be at Glasgow with Sheffield.

Pickering? did a good job earlier in the season but does not seem to be back at the same level yet coming back from an injury.

He said our guest at Eastbourne on Saturday is someone who’s riding the night before. Didn’t say specifically who though.

Narrows it down to Edinburgh & Redcar then as Glasgow & Sheffield also meet on Saturday. The only ones that look a good fit average wise are Wells (injured?), Heeps, Pickering & Palm-Toft (injured?) so I know what my guess would be. His scores since coming back from injury seem to have been a bit down compared to early season, but we seem to have the knack of getting our guests to perform well. on the night. Mr Bump
It has to be him. Fingers crossed he’s as good as last time. Probably Kyle Howarth for the home leg, or perhaps Bomber.
