Just need to get your mid tier riders right. King needs to step us to that 2016 level rather than past 2 years and i appreciate he was injured. Will Rory return??? Maybe Harris will accept a pay as you score deal similar to what he had with Poole after losing the Rye deal. Also bearing in mind his social media comments about not having any other revenue source with no other career> Also he hasn't lost the possibility even with the new Champ lower limit set up of getting a Champ deal somewhere. Especially with a more local club to him like Leicester. Although whether that would interfere with grass track and Long track commitments. Not sure he would want to trek to say Somerset but needs must and there are other Champ sides if he doesn't want to do (or is not wanted) by Glasgow. King's fitness may be up in the air after that serious injury and would he be ready for season start. Only recently had a major op.
89buttons
I’d be amazed if king wasn’t nailed on, he has stated he and his surgeon are confident he’ll be ready for March.

But it’s now not his club, not his important decisions to make, and not his decisions to make on our future. That’s all now in the hands of a fella from Norfolk And not his money to lose or put in when things go wrong.... he will just be taking a wage....so maybe the best for him? 2ndbendbeerhut
• Minimum rider points average of 3 ‘achieved’ and not assessed So after what Hawkins has said looks like no one can ride unless they have achieved a 3 point ave. So no new riders to the league then unless they are assessed at 4.50 or above. So would not only rule out Drew but anyone new to the PL. Garcia too for example. What about Connor Mountain, has a 3.50 CL. but would be ruled out of the PL? Does that mean the likes of Kasper Andersen or Jonas Jeppersen that were assessed for 2018 will be reassessed? Surely as long as the likes of Kemp, Mountain, Hume, Bowtell are given 3 point aves whats the issue? Edit: Looks like Neil Watson and Ritchie Hawkins have differing views of the same rule..... which is exactly what is wrong with the rules! 89buttons
Certainly seems ambiguous, from what Hawkins says though you gotta achieve 4.5 in championship and that can then be converted by 1.5 to a prem 3.00 - so potentially using drew as an example once he’s up to 4.5 he could then be brought in somewhere in top league, ironic we were all hoping drew would keep his 2.00 average for this season team building and now ineligible and wish he’d have ridden enough to get an achieves average!
TB1
Question is would Mildenhall be a viable option at the higher level?

Racin Jason 72
It least he is honest !!! If I owned Lynn I’d give them a crap team as it would help my team. The fans and Chris Louis wanted more fixtures with more varied opposition. I believe Chris was frustrated by the lack of change and sold up as for him as his sole income would not be viable. 14 pay days per year is no good to anyone. Doubling up is continuing instead of ceasing. If you double the fixtures in the championship and make all teams have nl standard reserves so they get track time. Exclude the top 22 riders from the championship and give them premiership places. Only British riders to double up and problem solved !!
TB1
Presumbably if Buster holds the cards then he can hire and fire at both clubs if he wishes. Also it would be interesting to know spedeworths point of view on the Ipswich sale as surely it could potentially effect their levels of revenue such as stadium rent. Badge
I think, imo, as much as anything it's the shock of the announcement. Not sure if other fans were aware that the club was up for sale, I certainly wasn't tbh. Still it is what it is,, onwards and upwards for now at least.

So what would be the minimum assessed average in the PL? why cant Drew start on that? Think its more that he is able to partake but not on the average that Ipswich want him to be on.... And would Kemp wanted to ride anyway?

Buster taking over Ipswich Speedway has no relevance to Spedeworth's revenue. They charge the rent so Buster will have to pay it.

The minimum will be 4, why would Ipswich want to put Kemp in on a 4. That would be ridiculous. Think the Premiership are also wanting a certain "above standard" rider to be at that level. That's why all Championship rider's have to achieve a 4.5+ average to get the 3 average required in the Premiership.
Spl77
From what Louis said on BBC Radio Suffolk last night clauses are in place so that he can buy the club back at a later date if he wished to.
