Could this be to do with the reductions for British riders

Speedway Star today quotes that Ipswich have 13.48 points available for the final 2 signings

For this to be correct it would mean King and Lawson DO NOT get the reduction

So either the Speedway Star is wrong or the goalposts have moved which impacts some completed teams.......

Again a lack of transparency leaves fans in the dark

I’d say if it’s wrong it’s more than likely CL has got it wrong rather than the Star? There were plenty of quotes from Chris in that article today so I’d assume someone from the Star has been speaking to Chris about the latest at Ipswich.

Could be wrong maybe the Star done their own sums who knows.

Here we go again bring in a reduction for so called qualifying riders wait until the teams are formed and riders announced then change it again,  no wonder paying customers are disappearing from british speedway.

It may well be wrong info in the/supplied to the Star and not anything more sinister

If the goalposts have been moved, it's a clear effort to shaft the Panthers as some promoters will detest and be jealous that they've been able to put together such a strong side.

Will affect everyone wont it whos signed riders with a reduction to there average but wouldn't be the first time its happened to Peterborough

Could be back to the Bu****it again,

If it was to stop Scott Nicholls from possibly joining Ipswich he will be so pleased if hes in another close season fight again.

Neil Watson refuted that post on an earlier page - do you still stand by that post Neil in view of this latest article in the Speedway Star?

Over to you Neil

so does that mean the panthers are over the points limit now!!!

Probably not but now subject of a little bit of doubt until the situation regarding the Brit reductions is clarified

Maybe the BSPA averages have already had the 2.5% reduction applied - where appropriate?!

If that is the case using the final issue then Boro are over the limit for the 7 declared

They don't. Charles Wright has a final figure on the bspa website of 5.27 which is his average before the reduction...

'That means he comes into the Panthers’ line-up on a bargain 5.14 average (discounted from 5.27) – and promoter Ged Rathbone feels that gives real power to the side at second-string'.

Not had any over this which is more concerning

You've not been your usual forceful self Rodders. Ask it in a different way as I usually know you then you might get a result. Then again, best just let it run its course :)

Neil usually comes on pretty quick when on safe ground but he might have said all that he needed to say and there is nothing to see here which is fair enough. Time will tell whether there is a fire under the smoke.
