Peterborough Panthers 2019

Only three home matches gone & we're out the cup & giving up on the league.

Credit where credit is due, Buster has got some things right; the track is superb, meetings are  run through quickly, the programme is quality & social media is much improved.  However fans are fickle & this team is simply not good enough to challenge for honours and demand £18 admission fee.

When is Colin Pratt going to stand up, & take some responsibility? Reading his programme notes all he does is blame everything on the previous management.

You could always do what I've done and vote with your feet, after many years of supporting the club home and away I am not willing  any longer to just keep handing over my money .

As you took pleasure in knowing about the Cook issues you should be telling everyone not asking them

Id say Jason merely stated a fact rather than gloat about it......

Thing is, all three meetings have been very entertaining so depends what you want for you money. Also, don’t get the logic as people not bothering to go is the quickest way to get the club to fold so who wins then?

So seeing as summers was doing better than barker lastnight why didn't he get an extra ride? And wouldn't the track benefit at all with a bit more shale?

A bit more shale, are you serious.

Its had over 150 ton of shale and clay put on it this year alone, that’s why every time was under 60 seconds Monday and the track record has gone twice this year.

The last 90 ton that went on was a clay and granite mix. At the moment the inside isn't going as slick as before and as a result there is still a lot of grip when riding the track around the inside hence the times are quick. It actually according to the riders needs a bit of old style shale on it to allow the inside to slicken off a bit during the meeting and allow more of a dirt line to develop, so there is a benefit of going out wide. The track is super smooth at the moment but the top surface could do with a little tinkering with to develop it to suit the group of riders you have. At the moment it's a little too like Kings Lynn. Which is hardly a surprise. Hope fully there will be an appetite to get the tracks character back by modifying the top surface over the coming weeks.

Heat 14 against Poole perfect example, Aaron gates and clamps the curb, Charles comes round the outside to join him, can't quite get there over the first lap as the speed difference isn't enough, (and you would expect Wrighty to be as quick as anyone on the outside late in the meeting) ends up tucking in behind Aaron and they both pull away from the Poole riders by riding a pretty narrow line. In the Past you would have either been on the fence or have your front wheel on the grass.

Early days, I think the track is better than before, and Buster has used materials he knows well, which is no surprise. Now he needs to allow the track to develop so it's different from Lynn, not the same

Rather interesting strategy if true given that his fellow co-promoter was an apparent significant part of that previous management team

Yes the track is smooth and fast but the racing is not better, It's gate and go so far.

I am shocked that they are settling for a team 3 points under the limit and to me it shows a lack of ambition and is not fair on the season ticket holders who bought in thinking we had a title winning team but unfortunately now we haven't.

Titles are not won in April. Colin Pratt is a shrewd guy, no point rushing to sign someone who you probably don't really want at this point.

Faster doesn’t mean better though.
