The good news is that Ashley may well have got a buyer who is pretty 'firm'( that's the interest, and not what you are thinking) and he is hoping that the deal can be done before the end of the January transfer period. Difficult is whilst this is going on there will be no transfers in or out, and the deal will probably be done late in the month, and "not enough time to get any deals" over the line as Ashley likes to say. We will see. His best present to us will be to leave, get out, and change the ownership on the 1st January. This a man that perpetuates zero hours contracts and the minimum range, or as our Government call it 'The New Living wage', the lowest of the lowest followed closely by Amazon and most of our Supermarkets. Desperately trying to buy the league trophy, and in doing so stuffing up every other club In British speedway. All you get out of riders now when negotiations take place is Glasgow have offered this...... As if the sport isn't in enough trouble without Glasgow pulling tricks like this. Let's just hope they win something next year or who knows what desperate measures they'll make next. Sadly though I can't see them winning anything with the team they have put together, sarjent at 2, starke at 4 an two week reserves that's way two long of a tail.
