Can't understand the Andersen move ( might aswell have hung onto sarjent ) but that's the mad speedway merry-go-round,, can't see Glasgow winning anything again this season & how much more can the owners take on ploughing big money into riders when only cookie & Jensen & the odd meeting vissing & starke now out for 6 werks... Ride well & that's not a go at the reserves,,

Joe's actions went beyond the realms of Glasgow Tigers speedway. Allied Vehicles are a major employer in Glasgow - they employ over 600 people. Their reputation was put at risk with the hotel chain, the Chief Fire officer and the significant number of hotel guests who had to evacuate their rooms and stand in a car park in the middle of the night. I'm confident some, if not significantly more, of those guests would have been complaining at reception the next morning. So if you were the Glasgow promotion and weighed up the full extent of Joe's actions and the potential impact on your major business - would the availability of a replacement rider be in the forefront of your mind? I very much doubt it. Wonder how they feel this morning ??

Chris116
I see the BSPA website is out of date as usual. It still redirects you to www.glasgowtigers.co instead of www.glasgowtigers.com! You would have thought that when all the teams changed to .com they would have updated the links for ALL the teams not just some of them. IronScorpion
I don't think all the teams have changed as Edinburgh is still .co & I thought I saw Glasgow as being .org

Can't be that bad surely, perhaps that makes him the world's best passer since he's won things and made the Danish final!
Mr Blobby
Interesting move bringing in a new rider to British speedway at this crucial stage of the season. Could go either way.

Fingersfin
Certainly worth the club taking a look a Sam and R/R wasn't worth persevering with. A Danish Under 21 champion and scoring decent points in a tough domestic league. From You Tube clips he looks a racer so even more excitement for the Ashfield faithful, in what has been a fantastic season so far.
MD
Coupled with the signing of MBA its definitely a risk. Last week r/r for Starkey got just 4 points. If he can score that initially it will be good. If he looks a prospect and we can get enough matches to secure his UK registration, all the better. Lets see what Friday brings, Berwick usually start off well before tailing off in the last 3/4 heats. Garcia at reserve is key to their success. Mr Blobby
Still no statement from allied HQ yet? Or just a case of brush it under the carpet and pretend it never happened. Edited August 14, 2019 by Mr Blobby

Oh wait you sniff an opportunity out more than a blind Lesbian in a fish factory. 4
