I did think, with all due respect to Lakeside and an injury-ravaged Peterborough, that the Tigers/Comets encounter would produce the eventual champions. topaz325
Yes indeed Peterborough were well and truly hit by injuries.

Bailey & Kinsley. 3 reserves Glasgow - If rumours are true. Sarjeant at No.2 who has never improved, Chessell & Lawlor. 3 reserves Somerset - Very very weak reserves. Need the 1-5 firing on all cylinders. Otherwise it will more than likely become a 4 man team away from home. Reserves win you silverware. Last year Worky won the treble by having a solid 1-7 with a big hitter at reserve. My team Poole won the title as well by having a solid 1-7 with a big hitter at reserve. Your team won the title with some poor refereeing decisions and dodgy rule bending
wealdstone
Workington clearly best team IMO and deserved title

SpeedwayNeutral
It was noted that things did not work out well for Stevie at Scunthorpe even despite the injury. Imo he is there on a bargain average.

Roll of Honour 2018 SGB Championship Winners - Workington* *Craig Cook was not present for the Glasgow Tigers in the Championship Play Off Semi-Final fixtures, his replacement Ricky Wells only averaged 10.66 over both legs
SpeedwayNeutral
There is a point in that Ricky Wells averaged over Cooks average. I believe Glasgow were lucky to get Wells as in an interview on the Edinburgh channel after the season was over he said he wasnt doing any guest bookings only the olypique meetingat Wolverhampton. Well that would take Cook out of the equation, so in no way should he shoulder any of the blame for not being fit.

That was a strange one, though I’m not convinced only the one man makes the decisions as we seem to have a management team in place now, I counted 12 on the track walk at the last meeting lol 1
