Looking at the rasmas situation i dont want him to go but if he is going up north it does make sence , more money big signing on fee 25 mims from the airport as against 2 hrs 30 but will still be gutted if he dont return !

Sadly Geoff, Rasmus is off to pastures new, but we will end up with 7 guys who want to ride for us :t:

How are young Dan's injuries healing ? and will he be ready for the start off the season.

Another season at Workington should help him on his recovery and confidence building.

I have a feeling Barker might be on tbe radar he gets used as a guest plenty.

distance from workington to his home WILL be a major issue in him not becoming a comet in 19.  a local lad in steve compared to doon theare where ben lives . wozza gets my vote , but if its ben , its ben !

They aren't and No....

Or at least he didn't think so when chatting to him last Saturday... as much as he wants to...

Some good teams being named

Noticed other clubs taking food use of the 2.5% reduction in average for former national league riders. We only got Kyle so far and we can not reduce his 2 point average.

How Sheffield and Somerset got there teams under 38 point limit looks great team building.

I'm pretty chilled at the moment. Of the teams that have already been put together Sheffield look solid especially if Kemp progresses as everyone expects him to, but they looked strong on paper last year. Scunthorpe also look ok but there will be a bit of pressure on their new Aussies to hit the ground running - I just hope they steer clear of injuries this year, as they would have done very well last year without them - I half expected their last signing to be Joanna Lumley what with their obsession with the letter J, now that would have been absolutely fabulous . With Somerset a lot will depend upon whether Chris Harris can be a**ed or not and I was surprised Jake Allen is not in their line up considering he is their asset.

The rest of us I guess will have to be a little patient to wait to see who Glasgow don't want or cant fit in.

Great see the Comets being given the Cumbria team of the year accolade, a real tonic for speedway in general....

.....Laura mentions it is an award for the riders efforts, quite rightly..

...but as they are all scattered worldwide none could join the ceremony....my only thought on that comment is - was Dan Bewley not still around locally?
