Every team has bad luck and good luck over a season “unlucky” is a poor excuse for failure.

We have the best track and stadium in the UK and built what was a good competitive team!!!

Our current league position and missing out of the top 4 play offs has now sadly proved that we have a weak clueless TM and a incompetent dithering management.

They been in place and failed for 3 years now so imo it’s time to bring in a new TM and management that can promote and take the club forward. But dont hold your breath.

Mark builds bloody good teams. Every year no one can complain when season starts. Hes brilliant at it. But then he just doesnt improve it which you have to do.

This season I had high hope. We knew Dan and Steve were a risk and ultimately it proved exactly that way. Our middle order has been terrible all season.

Wells had to go, as did berge. There was a window and we are just to loyal.

I think next year a shake up is in order. I would keep Max, Jaimon and Dan Bewley. Bjerre if possible, assuming he doesnt go back to Peterborough. Everyone else I'd let go.

Sort of agree, but that’s the easy bit. A good TM then has to get the best out of the team and make changes when necessary. Just look at Adams, Roscoe and Middlo they are annoyingly brilliant at that. BV should have the ambition to be winners not failures. Time for a big clear out and that includes lemo.!

Has Lemo got a very long contract over in Poland?

No one has a very long contract in Poland!

If you fail you are out! That’s business!

Clearly that doesnt apply in UK.

Consistently fail as lemo and co has done and well give you another go. Strange.

Imo let the colts managers have a go with the aces at least they know what they doing and have been successful.

The way it looked is that Mark was brought in at Torun late in the season in what position who knows?. Probably to help with the progress of their Aussie riders.

That proved to be a lost cause as Torun were relegated anyway.

Mark also has a budget which he has to stick to,do you know the budget ?? I don't. Maybe just maybe it didn't stretch to other riders demands.

If it didnt it should have because ultimately its cost us a play off place rendering it counter productive.

Had we made those changes we'd have arguably had 2 big home crowds for those meetings, which would have gone some way to covering the output to get people in.

We are running a loss anyway, but surely a semi final and final would have softened the blow somewhat.

The stated aim for all Premiership clubs at the start of the season was to operate to an affordable operating budget so as to avoid any more clubs going bust or wanting to drop to a lower league.

Obviously an 'affordable operating budget' will differ from club to club due to variable costs and different levels of sponsorship income.

Belle Vue have been in the top 4 until the death and reached the cup final. I know a couple of clubs at least that would have been very pleased with that.

Top 4 is a must for BV. Winning the cup will be great but not fully make up for missing out. Our own fault btw.

Yes it would, and if Max had not been injured for the home match with Wolves, we would probably be talking now about who we will meet in the semi's. All if's and but's. Hopefully we can move on from this and have a more succesful season next year.

Not finishing in the top four of a seven team league can’t be dressed up as anything other than failure unfortunately.

finishing out of the top four is unfortunately, failure. Regardless of how many teams are contesting it.

The truth is poor management has cost us big time, they run the club and they are two blame!

Win the KOC will bring in some cash but bv will be still losing a serious amount of money and the big worry is how long can that go on? The sport in general is falling apart and is in a dire financial state. Lots of clubs are up for sale with zero chance of finding buyers. Promoters will not keep bailing out clubs for fun with no future of things improving. What is the solution? I haven’t a clue, imo sadly things have gone to far now!
