Forget "GP"; that was quite possibly the best meeting I have EVER seen...

But, but, but...

The modern machinery doesn't allow for that..

Everyone should ride 2 valve japs.

;)

There was racing on every line. Push to the outside, white lining, dives for the inside. You couldn't predict where riders would make a move. And that heat 18 was unbelievable. It's rare you watch a meeting and think, "I'll watch that again, tomorrow". But that was special.

My wish? The tie at the top of the standings will still be there and it goes right down to the final final at Torun (especially as I'm going to be there, yes).

At the end of the day, the tracks play a huge part.

In Poland they have czechova and Toruń, now Wroclaw. If you look they are all very similar in shape and size. Big entrances and wide exits. Speedway is just better on this track type.

Without looking it up, was the last WC run off in 1973? Cos I was there for that one, in Katowice. Could history repeat itself. 46 years on?

And I don't mean will Jerzy Szczakiel win it.

Now I have looked it up and I've witnessed WC run offs since. Old age eh? But this would be the first GP WC run off.

Having seen the racing at Wroclaw, it begs the question as to why BSI continue to put SGP s on at poor tracks.

E.g Prague is a great place to travel to but Pardubice is the best track in the Czech Republic by a long way

Krsko rarely produces good racing etc

For gods sake put the meetings on real race tracks

The NSS..

And a few Polish ones with the best Sweden has to offer..

Add in the 'flagship ones' in Warsaw and Cardiff..

And you have 'the perfect storm'...

Magic made a very telling comment. .

He said that (in the heat of battle) how much he was enjoying the "crazy racing"...

Give these lads the 'playing field' and they will deliver, time and time again...

Of course, they are thrill merchants, tracks like that feed them exactly what they crave, brilliant meeting.
