Its a done deal, just waiting for the paperwork to be signed off, then up you go back up to the dizzy heights of the top league with the big boys and you won't have to post down here with the second division poor people....

Some may regard them as such but many have short memories and the holier than thou brigade would have you believe such.... however I have seen some fantastic meetings at championship an NL level and leave watching the telly to see most so called top teams in action.

If we do go up to the top league, I would love to see the below riders.

  • Jack Holder - Only going to get better and better, rides the Showground very well.
  • Linus Sundstrom - On a very low average of 6.13, a rider full of potential.
  • Kenneth Bjerre - On an average of 7.16, he would be a no brainer.
  • Krysztof Buczkowski - On a 6.02, he is effectively a heat-leader around the Showground.
  • Michael Jepsen Jensen - 6.52 is his average, capable of hitting 9+. A fan's favourite at the Showground.

Holder, Sundstrom, MJJ, Buczkowski, Bjerre, Lambert & Bacon.

The above would be a side that I would pay £20+ to watch every week at the Showground.

Well that team selection has blown THJ's theory of your understanding of all thing Peterborough out of the window :D

Boro is one of the clubs that have a fan base at a level and with the potential to tempt enough back to be able to consider a move up

The biggest question mark may well be showground availability to fit with a top league requirement

I have heard that showground availability is one of the reasons that Peterborough are going up as very few clashes mid week where as they already know that there are 5 Sunday’s from March until May that the stadium is not available.

It also makes sense with local matches against Kings Lynn and Ipswich plus possibly Leicester depending on decisions with the level of racing in Championship

Good luck with that then. Hope that they've got deep pockets.

I know of many who'll go more frequently for top level speedway even if it is midweek

Something like the below wouldbe good to watch

NKI

Nicholls

Andersen

King

Bjerre

Shanes

Berge
