Or Mr BalfeĀ

Not a bad shout when you think about it. Don't think that he's short of a few bob though and didn't Rathbone say something about the offers being less than he hoped or valued the club at? That would just lead you away from anyone not known or with money. A speedway arm of Balfe Motorsport would be an interesting project though.

Did he not help with the asset signings which never went through? Surely that carnage would of been enough to put him off.

The only persons postingĀ on this board whoĀ  can speak with any degree of authority are IMO THJ and Flagrag

You sure about that Rodders?

As THJ would say: " I am minuspeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericabobulations."

That I don't know but it depends whether he knew the full story or not to make a judgement. Probably adding 2+2 and making 7 here anyway!

what's the chances that Ged Rathbone might be attending the first day as the outgoing owner of Peterborough, and the other days as the incoming owner of Redcar?

I'd be happy with that, but sadly dont think there is any chance of it happening.Ā

The most important thing is Peterborough are running and subject to the BSPA members acceptance of the new ownership Ged and Neil can make the best decisions for the club depending on the outcome of the league structure talks.

Would have thought that if there is a new owner/owners then they will be making the decisions. Given that the AGM only basically rubberstamps decisions already taken then Rathbone & Watson's role is surely as a club presence after being briefed rather than in a serious decision making capacity. I suppose the alleged deal could go 2010 style pear shaped over the AGM weekend which could leave them back making the decisions.
