Ermolenko 93 world final, that was there for all to see, could name over 10 instantly, but decisions are made, and always will be made wrongly even with technology..thats sport! when you on the receiving end its not good, but Poole speedway are NOT to blame for that decision! What? I didn't watch any of Monday's meeting. So I can't comment on the Danish collision. Wimbourne Rd is not a track that produces entertaining speedway. My comment was about Poole fans. Summed up perfectly by this... "So Poole are champions again, back in our rightful place." Really? Most of my life they were a biggish fish in the smaller pond of league racing in tbe UK. Only the demise other tracks for whatever reason, has elevated their status. Edited October 10, 2018 by Col

mrss
So the dream is over for us Stars fans. The injures to Iversen and Toft have cost us and dodgy reffeerieng decisions in the first leg have done us. Stars team gave there all but Ellis wasn't good enough Howarth tried hard but Toft would have scored more. Been a good season but speedway isn't what it was, only the importance of last nights meeting kept it interesting. Racing wise it wasn't anything special. Pirates Of Poole
Well firstly commiserations to Kings Lynn, with MPT & Iversen along with heat 12 at Poole the score would have swayed in their favour. A fantastic achievement by Matt & Middlo to win there 8 league title, and what a way for them to bow out. An interesting time ahead for Poole! Poole Pirates 2018 Premiership League Champions.
Wolfsbane
When it was pretty obvious his team was not up to snuff, Maud didn't sit on his hands but did something about it. First 5 heats at Poole did. The injury is a different story.
hyabb17
I seem to recall certain Poole fans saying Swindon’s 2017 tiltle victory was hollow due to the team change (2 team changes)......I wonder of those said people believe Poole’s is with their 6 changes? The decision in question would only have altered the outcome by 3 points, i.e a 3-2 as opposed to a 5-1 (as MPT couldn't take his place in the re-run?) assuming that you're referring to the first leg incident? I agree totally, that the ref was shocking ....

Phil The Ace
BTW, there are no haters on here at all, But Poole have won with an outrages decision in heat 12 of the first leg and then used an illegal rider (not pooles fault) but how the hell bspa let them all agree to it I don't know. Kings Lynn management are worse for accepting it. It's total nonsense that as tarred the final of any credibility. I expect next year (if there is one) most teams will be allowed to to abuse rules and do whatever they like. Agreed by the powers that be and other promoters. Very much doubt it. Again as I said earlier. Well done Poole. Enjoy it because in 2019 (again of there is one) you jsve telhe target on your back. Were coming for you
pointsmeanplayoffs
Gutted. I don't mind losing, but losing like that, well it's hard to take. Everything went against us, from injuries to key riders, to corrupt officiating, to illegal guests, it just wasn't meant to be. Such a shame.
