Steve Shovlar
So after last night Pirates take a 16 point lead into the second leg at Kings Lynn. Is it enough? You can be sure that Kings Lynn will be fired up and want to hit us hard from heat 1. The Pirates will be aware of this and will not want any last places. Thoughts? stevebrum
Poole to win on the night if Iversen and Palm Toft are out.
Bagpuss
If MPT rides and we have luck on our side this time then it’s doable but the odds are stacked against us. Need to make a good start and we need a lot more than eleven points from the three middle order men.
capone
Poole have one hand on this trophy........SO do Kings lynn........i think pooles other hand is stronger

Pirates Of Poole
Depends if MPT is fit to ride with his wrist injury & how Buster preps the track.
LisaColette
I think we all know how Buster is going to prepare it!!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If it looks slick it will still be grippy If it looks grippy be prepared to hold on tight!!
Bagpuss
I’m sure it will be prepared as it has been all season which our riders like. Making it different to catch Poole out could also catch our own riders out so just maintain the status quo and hope for a bit of luck which we are going to need.

Tigerforever
Shame for Palm Toft, his scoring power at reserve around Kings Lynn has been sensational of late.

Bagpuss
I’d like to be positive and think that Howarth could come in and match MPT’s performance levels around Lynn but it’s difficult to see considering his form this season. I can accept losing a two legged tie to a better team, even after finishing top, but for injuries and awful refereeing to play a major part makes it a very bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully the Stars will he fired up and surprise everyone but I can see this being a tight meeting and the margin on the night being two to four points either way. ZagarRacing
Tie over with no Iversen/Palm-Toft, Ellis & Howarth average replacements.

It looks like injuries will decide the winners for the second successive year. Everything is going Pooles way I'm afraid to say
