Like the look of the team did they also announce the academy squad

Due to the shortage of 125/150 riders it is necessary to consider the format. AGM is being planned for a January AGM.

You could well be right, though if there is a weakening in the Championship any increase in admissions is going to be difficult to justify.

What possible weakening Screm? It's going to be seriously exciting watching the likes of Cook trying to lap the 2 point ex National League riders during the course of a race. It'll be so  thrilling I can hardly wait.

Well the news is out... Good team bar Gappmaier tbh, only people who rate him are the ones who just go to home meetings because he is god awful at 95% of tracks and he’s experienced enough now to be better than that, hopefully he’ll prove me wrong, fingers crossed.

Interesting that they’ve given Flinty the managers job when his son is in the team?? Conflict of interests that could hurt the team/club?

Happy overall and the season ticket looks very good value for money!

If the riders are taking a pay cut surely they are contradicting themselves by raising the admission prices no ?

It obviously means last years figures didn’t add up. What was the alternative ? Shut the doors ?   If you had been there and listened to Jamie’s explanation, you would understand.  As he said, he is Berwick born and bred and loves the club and the sport. He is only there to keep the sport alive for the supporters of Berwick Speedway, The Bank of Jamie or his other businesses can not keep propping up the club financially, all he wants is the club to pay its own way and be sustainable for years to come.

Look at the season ticket offer !  Incredible value, which is designed to help the loyal Bandits fans

You have a point as Mr Barrie was saying at the end of the season when the Club went up for sale that we had an inexpensive team ,Bills were paid and viable going forward for prospective buyers. The main  thing for the supporters is we still have aTeam to support next season though,it will be interesting if the price rises effect the attendances ,think it is a bit negative to charge £1 for u/13’s(if I have read it right) given they have raised addmission by £2 from last season. The Team looks reasonable given the reduced averages.Hope the entertainment factor improves though.

Better than having no speedway at all , as Aldi's slogan says when it's gone it's gone.

Yes, but that slogan is usually associated with items on sale, or at discounted prices,,,, not just after a price increase !!!

Although I quite like the idea of British Gas using it to justify their price hike ;)

Looks a solid side with a couple of marquee signatures namely NBJ & Garcia who i would have thought were in demand this year? Add in the influence of Howe in the pits and it could be a good year for the bandits. Yes there is a danger of clouded judgement with Gary as Manager and Leon in the side but he is probably best placed to tell when he is having an off night and when he can go out and do the job.

Agree, think it is the best team we could have hope for given the financial position of the Club.

There is no problem with that as Leon's granddad is bossman in the pits, and that gives Gary his full time to oversee the team as a whole. if Leon struggles at a meeting, his granddad will be the best judge and advise Gary.
