Popular Post Gunner85
A massive congratulations to Robert re season 2018. An average of 9.93 in his 2018 meetings with third place in the WU21 and the European Championship plus being crowned British Champion Sincerely hope he gets in to the SGP for 2020. British Speedway is at last on the way up..... Robert Lambert , Dan Bewley, Drew Kemp ,Kyle Bickley plus others..... all looking like British success is on it’s way. A big thank you to Neil Vatcher for doing a tremendous job with the BYC which is bringing a steady conveyor belt of British talent Edited September 29, 2018 by Gunner85
Steve Shovlar
Lambert really has done well this season and come on well after a not so great 2017. He just needs to continue his improvement, especially his gating. Certainly has the speed and passing ability. Would like to see him get a wild card for the GPs next season as the second Brit. I feel he could ruffle a few feathers in the gp's.

So would Maxim Drabik (2017 under 21 world champ, runner up 2018) and Bartosz Smetkala (2018 World under 21 champion and runner up 2017) but because they Polish they not even going to get a sniff at the senior world championship unless they qualify through the Challenge.

It's a World Championship, not a Polish one. Although with four riders and three rounds you might sometimes wonder.
bruno
Can't help thinking if the top 3 in the u21s replaced the top 3 in the gp challenge it would be for the better. They may struggle at times but they don't seem to care for reputations 1
adonis
everybody should have to qualify every year for the GP no more of this wildcard bullrubbish 2
Vince
I think he would benefit from another years experience before being in the gp's in 2020.

Don't forget we've seen lots of names over the years fail to realise their true potential. Whether that be through lack of ambition or lack of opportunity. Well done Lambo! I would say PL slightly stronger. Then Swedish elitsiren. Then Polish top flight.
