Guest
Confusion seemingly reigns over the the re-staging of this. Bees saying one thing & Eagles saying otherwise. Come on - sort it!

It's available, its Coventrys race day and Eastbourne are not scheduled elsewhere. We have to go to Eastbourne mid week with a patched up team (work commitments) I wonder if they want this meeting to also be midweek? I was told it was the only available date at Arlington last night. The 28th is reserved for the play off final, with the 27th unavailable due to stock cars. The Dog
None of that stops them riding at Coventry (Leicester) on the 21st tho....

Eastbourne still have outstanding away matches at Buxton and stoke still to race, as well as at home to Mildenhall. If they ride at Leicester on the 21st, then it's hard to see how the league fixtures will be completed.
Gemini
Do these outstanding fixtures make any difference to the top 4 places? If not then surely the Eastbourne v Coventry semi final matches should take priority.

Gemini
Yes I understand that but as there is still the final to be arranged they should make every attempt to run the semi as soon as possible. Unfortunately 'dead rubber' matches have often taken place after the top league positions have been decided.
Woz01
Play offs has to be the priority otherwise what was the point of the whole season.
rocket007
For the integrity of the league, ALL fixtures should be completed, otherwise the NL might just as well run challenge matches all season except for maybe 1 cup that all teams enter. That way meetings should be completed.

Apparently Eastbourne haven't agreed to go to Leicester next sunday, and still hope to stage their leg of the play off final the previous night, if they qualify! Why would Eastbourne ride at home on a Wednesday night, and give up their regular saturday. Crazy in financial terms.
