Thought the same at the time. Ged is an emotional guy & hopefully nothing more than disappointment with how an excellent season has fallen apart right when it mattered the most. But the ace in the pack Simon Lambert has been absolutely Top Drawer at the back end of the season . Be thankful you have speedway to watch in October as many other speedway fans don't

Everyone knows that Lambert scores points at 6 or 7 so where's the surprise there. The first part is tosh, so quite appropriate, but based on that the last sentence makes little sense. Always have been and always will be, especially at this level. Just trying to earn some money as opposed to riding for your team with your team mates must be a different kettle of fish. Paulco
Panthers fans talking as if it's all over . Remember last year's top league final between Wolves and Swindon to see what can happen .

Nobody's fault, although somewhat compounded by the BWD gamble that has gone a bit pear shaped when it mattered. If you'd been watching Panthers over the last few meetings you'd see that their concerns are well founded.

Personally I would not use him and would much prefer a rider with a better attitude even if the rider is of a lower standard.

There is another factor. Peterborough wont be able to call upon James Sarjeant for this match.

Then he would be wasting his time and money they're wouldn't be many fans and helpers should that happen even if he was Panthers last hope of surviving . Fans remember what he did for the club in the past and would rather see the club die gracefully
Lukas
What people don't remember is it was actually Rick Frost who actually nearly closed us down...not Horton...although he did close Coventry down! I would have to argue the toss there . it wqas Sandhu who closed Coventry ,by stealing the lights seats and shale .and making the place unusable for speedway . Horton was set to go with a new 3 year lease until Sandhu did that

Rick Frost let Panthers down badly ( although he did have to contend with a lot of stuff from the mafia) He did however try to ensure that Panthers continued although certainly made the wrong choice in Horton who managed to screw things up. If Frost/Mahoney (who gave us 5 top quality years of expensive entertainment despite the lack of success) hadn't saved us from Colin who saved us from Mick in the first place if my memory serves me right, then we'd probably have been closed down anyway. Seems that you don't remember that? Edited October 8, 2018 by Crump99
