I heard matt buck say Nick may not be returning till mid June if true i would replace him.

I've heard June aswell due to the nature of the repair done, he risks permanent damage if he rides before fully healed. Think we need to do something, we can't keep using r/r, sooner or later we will slip up if we do. Think it's stretching the rules a bit aswell as Nick hasn't ridden a meeting yet. I would expect to see Jacob back in the not too distant future. Let's see how he does tonight in Sweden. Pete Adams will definitely want him back, I'm sure of that

Unfair maybe as Scott has been pretty decent and adequate replacement. But not as a replacement for Jacob. The Nick Morris situation is a more worrying one. Another month of RR is going to demoralise the main body riders imho. If we can switch the temporary replacement for Morris and keep Nicholls till then would be the best situation. 1. Jacob fit and back riding is now a priority to bring back. 2. RR for Nick if a switch replacement isn’t allowed (not that there should be but hey this is British speedway so anything is possible). 3. Scott as temporary replacement for Morris. 4. Sign Scott for Morris if the injury situation is going to drag on. They are my priorities.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If Thorssell is back riding elsewhere then the temporary injury replacement should end once the initial period granted is over - no way should it be extended Either Thorssell returns or a permanent replacement needs to be named - no further facility should be available

The only facility we are using at the moment is r/r for Nick Morris

Surely his average is higher than Scotts and I doubt the team total is under the limit
dabbsjoe
anyone think that Jacob has burnt his bridges with Wolves and CVS/Adams ? he told them he was going to be fine when they spoke to him about being in the team. CVS has said that they were annoyed by his stories over the winter when they turned out not to be true. wouldn't surprise me if he's not back here this season and Wolves stick with Nicholls

SteveLyric2
Thorsell didn't start the season did he? Therefore Nicholls had to be a re-declaration rather than a temporary fix surely?!
IronScorpion
Looking at that, it was a re-declaration or a declaration of new personnel due to Jacob's injury as it was the 1st one. file:///C:/Users/User/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5/TWXUQ3C6/p19_issue_1.pdf

IronScorpion
Not sure on this but has happened before in that there is/was a rule in place that if a rider finished in a team the previous year & is declared the following year, a facility can be granted. But, I do not know how r/r has been allowed for Morris as he had not ridden for Wolves this year & last year was at Swindon.
