Swindon deciding to bring back Doyle means they will almost certainly be losing one of their heat leaders in Batchelor, Musielak and Morris and Tobiasz has won the Rider of the Year and be a big suprise if he wasn't back.

That leaves Batchelor or Morris and the latter being more of a bargain and Batchelor could be off to Ipswich or Peterborough which makes more sense than having a top heavy Swindon team. However Nick is very Midlands based and many feel a change is what he needs.

Personally while he would be a good signing, Wolves may be better served with Ricky Wells 5.77 backing up Masters, xxxxxx and, Thorssell and with Howarth and Becker already signed, including Wells would leave about 4.5 for the last place and if Jake Allen fits he would start at reserve with Becker. However Swindon may see him as a good signing with Doyle back.

POSSIBLY - Morris and Morris OR Wells and Allen

A change of track is what Nick needs to rebuild his confidence and that's what he would get if he stayed at Swindon.  With him and Rosco being close and the loyalty he and the club have shown to each other, I would be surprised if he was to leave Blunsdon for the coming season - especially with such an attractive average having just signed one of the top riders in the league with a high average.

Would not be happy if Nick went elsewhere and upped his game.We all know what he can do and on that average he should be a shoe in.Also i would love him to stay and eventually get a testimonial also continuity in the PL has to be good for Nick .This is because he has moved one hell of alot at Championship level over the years mainly because of the crappy rule book.

You really think Batchelor will be off to a club owned by Buster?  might want to re think that one.

He might not have a choice if he wants to ride over here and the other 4 clubs are uninterested.

I make it 5.93 if Becker is 4, 4.93 if he's a 5

So if Becker came in on 5 then he would be in the main body of the team not at reserve. That to me makes the difference between being a good signing and a poor one. Surely we would only have signed him if he came in at reserve

Becker has plenty of tight track experience in the US so a week or 2 and he'll be fine at Monmore. In a tough Polish 2nd tier he showed the potential he has on the bigger tracks.

Personally, he could easily match his assessed average and no doubt come with excellent equipment.

CVS said there would be 4 returning (Masters, Thorssell, Howarth, Morris) plus one new face (Becker) and one returning rider who rode here in the past (Pawlicki maybe)

Luke Becker was a real achievement as most teams must have been looking at him all season and if Wolves can get Nick Morris it would be good as both ride for the same Polish team and under the wing of Greg Hancock.

Masters

Howarth

Morris

Thorssell

Pawlicki

Becker

Morris

However I do like a more solid line up like .... Masters, Pawlicki (Schlein), Thorssell, Wells, Worrall, Howarth, Becker and although Nick Morris fits in well why would Swindon let him go just as Wolves wouldn't let Jacob and Kyle go on such modest averages

Wells and Worrall (either) are just as strong as Morris and Morris and does three 8 point riders really work ?
