Here you go, seeing as BV stuff keeps creeping on the Poole threads, thought we could discuss them winning the league on this one!

I thought this was going to be about our meeting on Monday but always like to stay on topic so here goes.

1993. A great year for the Aces winning the league in the last race of the last meeting of the season and made all the more enjoyable because it was away at Wolves. Bobby Ott, brilliant performance.

Ha, bit too literal. I meant discuss BV winning the title this year. Might happen as BV don't do it in the playoffs when they are favourites, maybe they will do it when they are underdogs!

Nobody at Lynn thinks it’s a gimme, and it’s silly to think that just because we picked Belle Vue.

Would expect us to keep this close but it depends on the fitness of our three heatleaders who could all go into this meeting carrying injuries.

Great ride from Newman remember it well. Also by way of compensation i believe he gave you guys a set of goggles when you came to Poole, generous to a fault :)

Totally agree, nobody at all are thinking this is a gimme. It just so happens that this tie is best suited for Lynn.I expect this semi to be close on aggregate over the 2 legs. And a possible nail biter right to the end of the 2nd leg.

Just takes Lambert to perform like he did in Sweden last night and BV can win this, against the odds.

Being realistic we are obviously weaker without Dan and the underdogs. If we are going to win all four of our remaining top five need to do well in both legs, we can't afford any weak links and at least one of our reserves also has to put in a good performance. That's difficult but possible and I'm sure that all of the team will be determined to do it.

I was pleased to see that, despite fears expressed by some Poole fans, Somerset produced a track that made for an enjoyable meeting so let's hope that both tracks for these meetings are also prepared to produce some excellent racing.

Well they're using Jonas b Andersen tonight so can they use him Monday as they are at home or does the 7 day rule apply?

No they can`t

18.10 A GUEST RIDER (G) replaces an absent regular Team Member subject to the following: 18.10.1 If the absent rider, with an established MA, is in the Top 1 – 5 of the Team, then the Missing rider’s MA will be enhanced by + 5% at a Home Meeting to determine the allowance for the Guest rider. 18.10.2 A rider may ride as a Guest (in an Official Meeting) at a Track only once in an 8-day period unless he is replacing the Home Teams #1 or is a NDL rider guesting for the Home Team. 18.10.3 The Guest must be in a current Team Declaration and have an MA that is the same or lower than that of the absent rider. If a rider has an established MA in both Premiership and Championship leagues the MA for the league for which the rider is guesting, will be The Speedway Regulations 46 used. If the rider does not have an established MA in that particular league then the conversion factor will apply. 18.10.4 The Guest assumes the position and MA of the Missing rider. 18.10.5 A Guest Rider in a “double-header” shall count as one Meeting only. 18.10.6 No Rider, whose Team is in the Play-Offs may appear as a Guest in the Play-Offs.

In that case isn't having Jonas just for tonight a mistake as if they didn't use him tonight they could use him Monday, a more important fixture and would make a big difference against Kings Lynn's reserves. I can't see anyone else they could use on the average available that is as good. Apart from the fact they have no chance of turning over a 14 point deficit.

Maybe the return of Jye for Monday
