Swindon v Belle Vue. Thursday 27/09/18.

Recommended Posts

We host our last home fixture of the 2018 campaign against the Belle Vue Aces a fixture that has no significance at all riding on it.I fear what the attendance will be but fingers crossed the crowd holds up better than we all expect. It will be very interesting to see who Belle Vue pick to replace Riss for the play/off semi maybe Josh Pickering ( a guess)???.Also it would be nice to see either Rowe or Brennan get another spin at reserve.

Will go if free spam and pickle sarnie. Have only been to 4 Abbey home meetings, and 1 Zummerzet away this year. Not been good racing this year. Need new track/stadium.

Coiren in Fa cup at  Binfield tomorrow. Will be worth 9 grand to them if they win.

I see that Zach did not ride for Lakeside tonight so wonder if he will be fit for this meeting also no news about Jack re his illness.

Zach is in the final round of the U21 world championships in Pardubice on Friday 28th evening- so if he is fit i would think he will be on his way there with his bikes to attend the practice on Friday afternoon.

Both sets of riders trying to lower their averages...? Pointless fixture. I'll go for a 0-0...

When you go into work next week, tell your boss that you’re going to work just as hard but you want to get paid a lot less.

Same thing really ?

See Rosco is having a little pop at the lack of support. Putting the blame firmly on the supporters for next year's team already.

Unfortunately Alun, this is a pointless meeting for fans to justify passing over their hard earned.

As for the last meeting at the current Abbey Stadium, many believe that this could be the last ever Robins home meeting. A little bit of gratitude towards your supporters rather than slagging them off may have gone a little further.

From Swindon's site - TBC for Zach at the moment.

''But they are forced into a change at reserve as Zach Wajtknecht is not fit to resume as he continues to have problems with his back following his crash at Lakeside nearly a fortnight ago.

Wajtknecht has also withdrawn from his call-up for the final round of the World Under-21 Championship in Pardubice on Friday.''

Batch has nicely maneuvered himself below 8.00 this past month, so it will be interesting to see if he stays there.
