Solidmango
So Peterborough confirmed top of the table and have a choice from Glasgow, Lakeside and Workington. Can anyone see past them selecting Lakeside given the neutral track and victory there last night?! It would also create a northern and southern semi final which would be good for all fans. Probably true, would make sense, Peterborough recently beat at Derwent Park too. So Worky v Glasgow...………. 5th and 6th of October was the rumour? Panthers v Comets final. Solidmango
I’d fancy Glasgow against Workington, Sarjeant in decent form and a few decent guest options at reserve for Greaves. A lot will also depend on the Grand Prix and Cook’s availability.
Baldyman
Workington to win the play offs...good for the club, good for its fans and good for the sport.

Endeavour
Glasgow’s to lose. Cookie has galvanised them on and off track.
Weeyin
Not sure if we will win play offs (Glasgow) but you are right about Cookie he has been inspirational on and off the track and has brought a magical feelgood about the place, feelgood factor has been missing since last years bust up at Berwick and again when Stewart Dickson quit. Even if we dont win it , the fans go into the off season on a high due to the Cookie factor. We were jealous of that when Cookie was at Edinburgh.

cityrebel
From an economical point of view, Peterborough have to pick Lakeside.

Would defeat the purpose in signing him if we did.
Baldyman
From a sport point of view surely you pick the team you think you can beat.

Peterborough will prob pick lakeside as they done them over on a neutral track . it will be a a different lakeside in the play offs . workington will be happy with Glasgow as they had a good meeting @ Glasgow. but its not our choice . Cook riding in the Championship is a complete farce , he’s a (supposedly) GP rider for Christ sake, shows money talks you’ve tried to buy the league for the past few years let’s hope it goes to Lakeside, Peterborough or Workington . Not a bit of wonder British Speedway is on its arse and top riders prefer riding in Poland/ Sweden , nothing but a corrupt bunch of team managers running it into the ground .

If you have no ambition to win the League when you enter then what is the point of entering , in respect to who you want to win the league down to you, I don't think any of us will lose any sleep over that. Craig Cook puts bums on seats is that not a good thing, well I would have thought it would be.
