Why is Cook riding for Glasgow on Friday night against Sheffield in is what I describe as a non meeting,   a KO Cup meeting,  a two legged affair, when the risk of injury is so close to the S o N meeting at Belle Vue, what about practise, I know Cookie knows Belle Vue inside out but surely Glasgow could have a guest for this meeting as it is a FIM  affair.

Why was Woffinden riding for Wroclaw tonight ? (before it was postponed) practice is at noon tomorrow- plenty of time to rest before.

Edit why are you posting this on the Warsaw thread ?

Why not? He has to earn a living. Would GB pay them in order for him to rest?

Remember, his obligations are to Glasgow, first and foremost. Also, would a guest be as good as he is at Glasgow? He is unbeaten round there since he joined at the end of last season. I saw him this season v Edinburgh and he was on a different planet. He was awesome to watch when he didnt gate. Well worth the trip up from Torquay just to watch him alone.

Ive never particularly liked him, tbh. My opinion rose dramatically after seeing the way he rode and helped his team mates.

Having given damp and miserable conditions for my stay, it now looks set to be 20 plus throughout and bright sunshine barring a couple of thunderstorms on the Saturday morning. One more night at work monday and then its holiday mode.

Wow what a stadium .

And an incredible atmosphere when full of excited Poles  Hopefully we’ll be sat with some calm Swedes again this year -_-

However much they ‘big’ Cardiff up, this event has overtaken it and is now the biggest and best indoor GP. Plus Warsaw is a very underrated city with plenty to explore.

As one would expect given Poland is the best supported speedway nation at this time?

1st time in Warsaw, and I’m so excited for the start of the GP series it’s untrue!

Predictions? I’m going for 1st Woffinden, 2nd Zmarzlik 3rd Emil 4th Dudek.

Whatever happens, it’s going to be a brilliant night!

Are Doyle & Janowski fir enough to ride?

Unclear at the moment. I would say no, although I expect them both to try.

Janowski has announced he won't ride in Swedish League for a month regardless of whether he rides on Saturday.

I think Doyle has a greater chance of riding and scoring some points than Janowski at this stage.
