Tell that to an accountant and you will be laughed out of his office, riders and sponsors are not assets, therefore have no value.

The riders, just like is seems that C Holder might, can just walk away and sponsors, as some have done, stop sponsoring.

"without him (Ford), would anyone else be able to raise as much", the likely answer is no.

Both EBITDA and FME are means to derive a value using earnings, not assets

Again then earnings meaning what - turnover or profit?

Which would reduce the value as nett earnings, excluding sponsorship money, would not be high, as it seems that Matt, along with most speedway promoters,  needs sponsors to cover many of the costs.  No or a reduced number of sponsors equates to less profit.  Then with speedway having a dodgy future and very little security of continuing not many would pay a lot for it unless they wanted to cover a large tax loss.

If you can find the profits made each year that would be a good start.

Kacper Woryna & James Shanes not being considered for a team place in 2019. I personally think Jakobsen will be the No.2 and Jake Allen the No.7. Possible combinations for the final team places.

2. Fredrik Jakobsen & 7. Jake Allen = 9.60

2. Linus Sundstrom & 7. Stefan Nielsen = 9.61

2. Fredrik Jakobsen & 7. Thomas H Jonaason = 9.68

2. Richie Worrall & 7. Josh Pickering = 9.67

2. Richie Worrall & 7. Rasmus Jensen = 9.99

1. Jack Holder 7.39

2.

3. Josh Grajczonek 6.70

4. Nicolai Klindt 6.61

5. Brady Kurtz 7.05

6. Nico Covatti 4.70

7.

10.05

None of them are right

Poole might have been rubbish, but Swindon were MUCH MUCH worse.....:lol::rofl:

You think? We kept the same 1-7 except for an injury replacement, had a very good half season and were pretty good at home all year.

While Poole were a laughing stock, particularly useless at home, used 13 riders, most with no connection to the club and got lucky.

Ah, you mean the half a season you were here, desperately trolling Poole fans, rather than the half season where Swindon were a laughing stock and you hid.

According to the Poole website, the cost of a 2019 season ticket will be £260.00 for 16 matches which, when compared to 2018 is a price hike. 2018 prices were £239.00 for 16 matches. On the face of it, it appears there is not much point in paying up front for your seasons speedway.
