And you don’t believe Somerset and Kings Lynns injuries handed the title to Poole on a plate then! You needed a moment of brilliance from Harris to beat a 5 man team and then won by 4 points against a team without a star rider and top reserve...... no Poole were definitely the best team lol
Sherborne Green
Poole were very fortunate with the way things went. This type of thing happens so much in a dangerous sport. A soccer or rugby team would bring in other players from their squad or an injured player would be substituted. Not practical in speedway but a squad system would make more of an even playing field. He has the odd good ride here and there like the Doyle race but they are few and far between and although it gets the crowd going and boosts morale , ultimately speedway is about points scoring and Harris isn’t good enough on that new average Gavan, 2 times in one week. Poole aren’t always in the wrong. No one cares that Leicester had 2 riders. Just get on with and see what happens in 2019. Sounds like we are going strength in depth. Linus Sundstrom 6.04 3. Nicolai Klindt 6.61 4. Kacper Woryna 6.36 5. Josh Grajczonek 6.70 6. Fredrik Jakobsen 5.04 7. Nico Covatti 4.70 = 42.50 Forget Sundstrom and Grajczoneck then use the 12.74 to release Kurtz from the number one position and Jakobsen riding in the main body with a new reserve to partner Covatti. 1- new number one 2- Jakobsen 3- Woryna 4- Klindt 5- Kurtz 6- Covatti 7- reserve capable of moving up
Col
Covatti would a good signing at reserve. Grajczonek is decent in middle order. Klindt & Woryna both had confidence boosting spells at reserve last year, starting on 6+ averages for 2019 Poole can't afford such a luxury. Wouldn't touch either. Even in the relatively weak British league, not sure Kurtz will ever make a #1.

I'd be surprised if sundstrom is back.

Maybe Piotr pawlicki is in the frame not riding in Sweden yet not in the GPS not sure if wolves can fit him in ?

Wolves have asked him so I assume any team plans have included him in. I think personally however that if he comes back to the UK it will be with Poole. SteveLyric2
So Matt Ford will announce the first Poole signing this evening - and we are to hear from the rider himself!! I wonder if the telephone/video hotline will be to Australia, Denmark, Poland or stay within the UK? I guess there will be further rider announcements at MF's Christmas 'do' for sponsors and friends on 14th !!? Steve Shovlar
No big number one for Poole in 2019 unless a 7 pointer steps up to the plate.

A big number 2 much more appropriate for Wimborne Rd.
