Bald Bloke
Not sure if Ty will be back in time for this one, but i'm thinking a Lynn win by 12-14 on the night. The last time the Robins were in town it finished 49-41. Since then the Stars have Riss in place of Garrity, and MPT riding at reserve, with Riss taking up the number 2 spot. Thoughts...... johnno4
Can't see 6 points being enough and having only a 6 man team won't help. MPT will clean up at reserve unless it's his turn to have a night off.
semion
Lynn to clinch a final spot. What I would like to see is NKI showing some form at Saddlebow to take into the play-offs. 12 point home win
Bagpuss
Should be able to finish the job off but Swindon’s top five are more than capable of making life difficult and absolutely nothing should be taken for granted.
Ovalman
Should be comfortable Lynn win, about 14 point margin.

They are Baggy. The Stars will need Lambo/ NKI to be on it, with heats 13 and 15 very important, as is MPT's score from reserve. I would hope something like.. NKI/Lambo... 20 Engine room of Riss, TJ and Ty (if fit)…. 20 MPT 9 from 5 S. Lambert 3 If Its RR then of course some riders points will go up a bit. Keeping positive, but anything can happen on the night Edited September 11, 2018 by Bald Bloke
Steve Shovlar
OK. What a ridiculous night to run this on. They are going up against Somerset V Poole on BT, the other playoff semi final and a meeting Kings Lynn fans will be interested in. So they run against it. Are there no other dates available? You ought to realise by now that Speedway is dictated by the TV schedule. The KO 2nd leg could have be on Wednesday for all we cared, but would that have clashed with Denmark?? Of cause the Lynn fans would want to see the PO 1st leg, so would the travelling Swindon fans, but we will have to make do watching the recording.... It’s that old chestnut rider availability I’d imagine. Personally I’d go to Lynn given the choice (if the weather is ok!) and record the TV meeting. Shouldn't think many would make the journey from the west country, little interest in the Cup judging by last night's crowd. Those that pay for BT Sport will record it. Bagpuss
From kingslynnstars.co KING’S LYNN need to overturn a six-point deficit when they host Swindon in their Knockout Cup Semi-Final decider at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday (7.30). The Tru Plant Stars lost the first leg 48-42 in Wiltshire last Monday, but a battling performance means they are still in the tie. In-form reserve Michael Palm Toft is confident they can progress through to the final, as well as building up some momentum ahead of next week’s play-offs. “Six-points is nothing really and the way we’ve been riding at King’s Lynn lately, it really is our fortress,” Palm Toft said. “So we’re feeling good that we can win this meeting overall but we know there’s still work to do to make sure we get the job done. “We all know what we’re capable of at Lynn and we’d love to get through to the final. “I think it’s important we put in another big performance, not only just to make sure we win overall but to keep our confidence going ahead of the play-offs.” The Tru Plant Stars are offering supporters a unique experience during Monday’s Semi-Final. For just £5 extra on top of their admission fee, supporters will have the opportunity to watch three races from the infield. Tickets will be available at the programme sales stand inside the turnstiles and will be limited to 30 persons per session. Subject to availability, supporters will be able to select from the following sessions: heats 3-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15. The popular reaction bike will also be available while there will again be free face painting for kids. Supporters will also be able to book coach travel to next week’s Play-Off Semi-Final first leg at Belle Vue and can also vote for their Rider of the Season. Tickets for the End of Season Party at the Adrian Flux Arena on October 19 will also be on sale and there will be a Q+A session with riders and management after the meeting. KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Erik Riss, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Palm Toft, Simon Lambert. SWINDON: Troy Batchelor, David Bellego, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, Nick Morris, Zach Wajtknecht, Jack Smith.

g13webb
Looking forward to this one, will be disappointed if we fail to make that final. Judging by our home form of late we should have enough strength in depth to see us home. But Swindon are no fools and have several riders who go well here. Had this been an ordinary league fixture I would have said an easy home win, but with a final up for grabs, this will be no pushover, and each team will be up for it. I can see this one going to the wire, and will be more than grateful, for a 50-40 scoreline...
