thebaron
Sorry but I'm going to be honest and say that team is going to be "stretched". Cannot see much from away meetings and homes will be close. Baptism of fire for young Jedd and equally difficult for the Reserves to step up. I'll make a prediction bottom 4 ! Islander15
This team strikes me as similar to this year’s Birmingham side: an excellent top 4 but a lacking bottom 3. If the top 4 ride to their potential then you only need Bailey to beat the opposition reserves for an away win but one of the top 4 have an off day and you can slip to a home defeat! However entertainment is guaranteed with them lot at the EWR.

mac101
Pretty sure most teams will be top heavy this year With 2-3 pointers at reserve in most team and the team with the best reserves will be up at the top end when the play off come only problem with that is if the reserves get injured they will not be many good enough to cover injuries
beaky11
https://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/other-sport/scunthorpe-scorpions-now-one-rider-2240975 interesting reading this that we were going to bring back Stevie for this year but couldn’t fit him in with averages! My calculations make it 3.05 for the final rider but would have been 2.48 with Steve in the team the only person I can think of close to that average is Jack Smith who finished on 3.07 last year but with reduction would fit anyone got any other suggestions who fit in this bracket?! June
That team will do for me. The 3 Js were brilliant last year round EWR. They raced their hearts out and fully deserve their places. Stef too was flying up to the point of his accident. Heres hoping for an injury free season. With the reduced team average. It will be the same for other teams. All teams will be weaker.

eric i
Scunny will be good at home but are going to struggle away. It's going to be an entertaining team but it looks a very injury prone team again. Edited November 20, 2018 by eric i

Alfie Bowtell probably the pick of the 2pt plus riders. 2.38 with Lakeside last season and actually had a 9.24 NL average with Isle of Wight which matched wonder kid Drew Kemp at Mildenhall. Would back him at Reserve as one that might step up in a "watered down" 2019 Championship. We would have two of the best 2018 NL scorers in Bowtell/Bailey (sounds like a Cop TV Series that ?) and plausibly one or both vying for a top 5 place while Jedd List finds his feet ? Tosh1218
When people are saying bottom 4 in some comments ,it's a tough season and when all teams are setting up to 38 pts team average when if you take heat 15 results off you need 42 pts to achieve a draw then all teams will be weakened . How teams decide to go will be interesting next year but to retain 4 out of 5 of our top scorers from this season will help ,as I see improvement from Jake and Stefan next season .Hope Gino and Stevie get set up elsewhere for next year . In my eyes your team can have what ever averages for next season they want ,it will be teams with fewest injuries over the season that will be battling it out for the honours .Because this season we were ravaged by injuries all season

phillwhitewasmad
With the last rider to announced I’m quite optimistic that we are for another entertaining season. Top bottom or middle as long as we get value for money on the track it don’t really matter if we win or loose.
