Full marks to the Bears tonight who rode with spirit and determination and put the Diamonds' pathetic performance into perspective. Barker and Jorgensen being particularly impressive, but they all played a part.

I enjoyed the fact that they went over to their supporters at the end for a bit of a love-in, they deserved it.

Note to the Monarchs - everyone managed to turn their bikes all night, and no-one got hurt.

Track very good and the Bears certainly gave the Comets a proper one to race against as opposed to the Diamonds who were rubbish. Even the comets fans next to me enjoyed the second half of the double header more.
