Mr Blobby
Why would we deliberately set up a dangerously grippy track where a higher risk of injury could occur. For not just away riders but our own. As I said earlier the track has been grippy the last 4 weeks at the riders request but a raceable grippy, tonight they had over done it not deliberately as some would suggest or like to assume cause it suits there agendas better. Iâm sure normal services will be resumed next week.

Nothing at all wrong with that but what line do you cross that it then becomes wrong , appears from what has been said they crossed it lsst night.

Yeah everyone is going to look back to the year 2018 in 10 years time and talk about that league match that the track was made far too grippy against lakeside.

The track is one of the best prepared surfaces in British speedway normally and last night for some reason they got it wrong, just need to move on and learn from the mistakes that were made last night. Not a lot can be done about it now.

MD
All in all it suggests lack of confidence, that in facing arguably the strongest opposition of the season they had to manipulate the track to ensure a close run meeting didnt happen. If the track staff got the grippy track right for the 3 home meetings prior to this one, it would suggest that last night didnt happen by accident.
SharpenRake
Can't help thinking sensible riders won't want to return to Edinburgh in the play-offs and can't help wondering what they can do to avoid this happening
