Tani is at Ufa and FIM press says Zorn will test his leg before practise. So I’d stay in Ufa.

DutchGrasstrack
Practice pics: https://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/1720/wk-ijsspeedway-in-shadrinsk-van-start-met-de-vrije-training.html Pretty poor not to have a proper replacement for Zorn. Reserve rider Borodin will take his place. Tani and Bauer are in Russia. Iwema was proposed as a replacement as well. Nothing happened.

JamesHarris
Just watched the highlights of the Kazakhstan round of the Grand Prix and must admit I was very impressed with the quality of the racing. I've never paid much attention to Ice Racing before as I've always thought of it as a Russian dominated procession where first out the traps always wins but I will be watching more from now on

steve69
One of the Russian ICE websites suggests that Dmitry Solyannikov has a broken elbow (European Final - Ufa). And ICE Gladiators Martin Haarihlitunen has a rib injury and Ove Ledsrom a hand injury. Hope they are available with Franz Zorn for Berlin or Inzell. Get well soon guys. From what I can gather the ice in Moscow Region was breaking up during the meeting even though it well in the minuses, and general comments around Ufa was that it wasn't the best track they've had. Sorry I didn't post these sooner but didn't get them all until late Sunday.
