Glasgow v Ipswich

Isn't it interesting how all of a sudden The Witcheselect to use two guests (Scott Nicol & Ben Barker) for important matches now the play-offs beckon?
Wonder what their fans think considering the number of times they've been short changed with r/r?

Has there been any (real) reason why your Management has not used guests? Money, unavailability or unwillingness by riders?

Ritchie said on the Mike on Thursday that apart from Scott and one or two others, it appears the younger riders don't want to race every night of the week, hence getting guests was hard.

You can't get a decent man under the age of 30 these days, they need their rest, bless em ....

Yet they all complain about lack of racing time? It still amazes me how many guys who want to be professional riders turn down opperchancities to join teams because of travelling. We get it at Glasgow every years as do all the other Northern tracks I dare say.

This has the look of a cracking match

Two great sides both with play off hopes intact (just!)

Wish we could do a Massif road trip to this one

Just seen the full teams on official Facebook site and can't help thinking this match will be decided by the reserves. And with Nathan now at reserve and still sadly injured we have a guest rather than r/r which makes us a lot weaker. Tuesdays guest is gino manzares so no disrespect but it's putting a lot of pressure on young Jack. With nichols and Barker riding for them it makes them stronger and favourites to win

Wonder if Connor Mountain declined the booking?

With Garcia turning it on in recent weeks and Kemp seemingly a decent prospect we need JT to be in amongst it from ht2. God help us with Sarjeant in the 1-5. Perhaps we could arrange a mechanic for Manzares to get the best out of him.

It’s almost as if you’ve been keeping a close eye on the Witches, watching us go in to meetings understrength and rubbing your hands at the prospect of a comfortable evening dispatching a weakened side, and now you’re royally cheesed off that we’ve got the brass neck to turn up with a full septet!

The side that will turn up will STILL be weaker than our own 7 without Danny King and Rory Schlein btw

Scott Nicholls must be getting close to a 4 home and 4 away average for Ipswich now !!!!

And higher than his pussycat one....

Edinburgh's point at Workington last night makes the two Glasgow/ipswich meetings coming up crucial . In reality it looks like either the Tigers or the Witches will have to win both meetings to have a chance of making the play offs .
