Who will get the last playoff spot??

Recommended Posts

Wolves can't get anything away and Swindon the same.

Kings Lynn, Somerset, Poole and Belle Vue can start planning their tactics and while Aces will miss Dan Bewley, at least he has moved to fourth in their averages so Tungate, Worrall and two reserves can take his rides.

Poole in the final against ?

Poole will only make the final if they race Belle Vue in the semi finals

The NSS is such a fair track that most teams go ok there.

I can see Kings Lynn choosing Belle Vue if they finish top and i can also see Somerset choosing Poole as they clearly have Poole measure over 2 legs.

Kings Lynn v Belle Vue

Somerset v Poole

Kings Lynn v Somerset final.................................who would have predicted that at the start of the season?

As much as i want Belle Vue to win the league i dont think that will happen this season

Kings Lynn will choose Belle Vue as they know only RR can cover Dan Bewley and know Lambert can go there and be untouched. However they shouldn't write off Belle Vue and can see them getting through.

Poole will beat Somerset and set up a final with Belle Vue finishing at Wimbourne Road in a tight finish but going to Poole

It could happen but can’t see how Poole could beat Somerset.

Somerset beat Poole 3 times at home fairly easily and the closest match was when Pooles reserves banged in 21 and Somerset had Claus 000 Vissing in the team. Somerset have not only won at Poole but also kept it close with 3 riders missing

Funny things happen in speedway but over 2 legs Somerset quite clearly are better than Poole

And we all know Poole tend to find another gear when it comes to the playoffs

They certainly do - glug!glug!glug!

Whereas Swindon decided to do that before the playoffs! (Just anticipating the obvious retort!)

At least we will be competing in it...

Which means very little now as this is now a cup battle and it's who has the sprint finish that becomes Champions, not the leader with a mile to go
