speedway never as good daytime, not a rider but think track was pretty dire, doyle hit the hole on the first bend when going to win ht 15 by half the track took an almighty whack as the bike lifted, harris hit a big hole between 3 \4 when on a poole 5-1,worral said couldnt ride the track, notice after racing they were shoveling grit into the hole doyle hit and trying to pack it in.have to say gary may (who every wk for 10 yrs or more stood with his wife who is brilliant with poole sponsers just in front of us)is constantly working the changes and i would put him the best team manager in the prem league, big fan of adams at wolves but hes lost that cutting edge

Just watched this on YouTube and cannot see Jason lift at all, it looked like a classic chain going from the angle of camera. Regardless hope he is ok as he was certainly going flat out all afternoon. As far as Richie is concerned, he needs to stop looking for excuses, he has been woefully under powered for most meetings with just the odd race where he seems to get it right. After the amount of rain we had yesterday it is a wonder that they managed to get the track back in some sort of order at all

You should have won this by 15-20

3 riders missing for Somerset whose replacements or r/r didnt get what the riders missing would have done. Not forgetting Holder having a mare

A full strength Somerset would have won this by 6-10 points and i imagine would love to face Poole in the play offs.

Worrall is the worry for Poole as he drops to reserve and Woryna unlikely to carry his form to the main body leave Poole very vulnerable, as Poole have been winning matches because of their reserves and that can easily change when the riders swop over

You talk some nonsense.... the Somerset reserves probably scored more than the riders they replaced would of going by their last performances. As for Holders mare - what about Kurtzs?

Both times Somerset reserves have scored equal to Pooles this time they were hammered.

Lawson got 8 the last two times he rode there and r/r got 3

Kurtz has been poor all season and he actually outscored his last score!

A full strength Somerset would have won

All I can say is let's hope Neil is back for next week meeting after this morning's fiasco

Hope that Neil is more on the ball for the playoffs.        We are talking Middlo ... ?

i’m sure both JA and BWD would’ve scored more than 6 points from 6 rides ...

Better angle on this one (from centre green), front wheel down a great big hole right next to the kerb

Fair enough, from that angle you can clearly see that Jason hits a hole, we were sat in the grandstand so could not see what happened and the other clip is not so clear, hopefully Jason is not hurt

Having just seen this,i find it disgusting to have a hole like that in a track.Talk about riders safety. What an earth can cause a hole like that,it's not the bikes that's for sure. The last Poole meeting against Somerset that was on tv there was a hole appearing in between bends 1and 2 again.Remember seeing Harris hit it and a Somerset rider, can't remember who now though.

I'm all for a little home advantage, but that is definitely not right.

Clearly shows it. Strange that it only appeared in heat 15 and wasn’t noticeable earlier on. Certainly not where we sit in the grandstand. Luckily Doyle the only person affected.

For the past two weeks Stuart Dickson has been on holiday so the track should get back to where it was on his return.

Or a better idea. Put some more holes in strategic places around the track, cover with fine netting just strong enough to put a sprinkling of shale over the top, then get the trackman to show our boys exactly where they are to dodge them. Within a few heats the opposition will be all knackered out of the meeting and we win 65-25.

I thought neil been doing the track in recent weeks been on holiday ?

Quite a few Poole fans on here and at the stadium have said it was Gerald doing it, the one who used to do Lakeside, that's why we have been having a surface like Lakeside used to!
