lets be honest Danny Phillips will never be or has been any good, only got a job because his dad bought into the club.

thats a bit like Simon lambert and ully oystergard @ Peterborough . it happened year after year , so dont go knocking Newcastle or Phillips . it is what it is . some teams stay loyal and to be honest danny is prob the one on the cheapest rate going and helping keep Newcastle afloat in these tough times .

prob if dannys dad had not bought into the club  , it would not have started the 2019 season .

so who owns Peterborough now the  ?  in ged you trusted !

Hallelujah. All must be forgiven. As devils advocate had Coles & Phillips been on different sides to the pits as they actually were then the Diamonds would have left with a point.

Some teams stay too loyal. Possibly not. So that would have made 2. From what I've seen quite a few teams in the Championship are struggling for crowds. I don't want to see clubs fold. But when you get a situation where teams are racing at home once a month people get out of the habit of going.

Yep fixed race nights not helping and junk fixture list. Teams need to be at home once a fortnight minimum, spend May with warm up matches/challenges, get the actual league fixtures run through June/Jul & early August. Then its play off time, KO cups August & September then season over an no freezing boots off at meaningless end of season meetings.

This would be absolutely ideal!

Maybe next year if we have the one big league....

That maybe the case but it’s not all Danny’s fault, Bjerre and Jorgensen have massively under achieved this season. 5 points off Jorgensen last night is pathetic for a heat leader.

'This seasons' averages show TJ and Lasse are both about a point under what they were signed on.

Fair point wheras Danny Phillips is only half a point below his signing average. That said his away average of 0.89 is possibly the lowest i have ever seen.

I want him to improve but cannot be doing his confidence any good.

When you put it like that, it would suggest that Danny isn't underperforming as much as others ;)

He has done this for 2 seasons with us. He has not improved.

Newcastle Speedway just tweeted that they visited TynemouthRNLI and for supporters to keep a look out for when they will be working together again.  Call them now, our ship is sinking and we need help, man the lifeboats.:D

That’s not really a surprise it was a risk signing both at the start of the season because they can be so good one meeting and equally as bad the next.

Surely it would be worth bringing in Ben barker he's available and would make you stronger and he has a point to prove aswell .

If we can get him for Danny Phillips, I'm in!!!
