Newcastle 2019

all very strange in what has been the usual way Club has been run, as some have said, relatively new Promoter and obviously he thinks he has found a better option, may be cheaper option. Will be interesting to see who it is. Campton is my guess

Not sure how many points we have to play with. Obviously it's hard on Palovaara and something i thought Newcastle wouldn't do but if there's a chance to bring one of the best number one riders in the league it's a no brainer. We have some real heat leaders now.

There might now be a case that, in future, the 1-7 nominated and (presumably) contracted and registered pre-season is required to actually start the season -- with an obvious caveat of MC permission to make a change in the case of an off-season injury, or other unavailability.

Obviously in “the best interest of the sport caveat” as usual depending on the Promotion.

1-7 signed  = 37.57 (using the averages on the Diamonds website).  Steve W = 8.17 (less any reduction he might get).

Palovaara is 6.25 - so would leave 6.68 to play with.

Worrall might get a 2% reduction (at best) so lowest he can be is 8.01.

So bigger change needed to fit Worrall in.

Rider has to be 6.68 or lower

He's entitled to a 2.5% reduction, and will be 7.97 (as dictated by the average he was brought in on at Workington).

So probably just over 4 for other rider. Any possibilities??

Depends who (if indeed it's anyone) else they drop.

But around the four points mark brings in Wilko on 3.96.  Simon Lambert (but I doubt it would be him) comes in at 4.29.

Has anything official actually been announced? Surely a statement of some sort from Newcastle would be helpful?

I'd presume they are waiting until they get the new rider signed and agreed by BSPA before any announcement??

As has been said several times on here, we as a promotion have never deserved a reputation for this kind of treatment of riders. I would go further and say we are one in the best promotions and our ex riders are very loyal to us for the treatment we gave them both when riding for us, and after they have left. Examples are Kyle Newman, all of the Danes, Jason Lyon, Derek Sneddon, etc. So I find it hard to believe this has happened. Of course nobody on here knows the circumstances, and if we were to replace a rider, you can be sure we would  have a replacement rider lined up and announced straight away to move on. The fact we haven’t suggests something has happened, and the search for a replacement rider has now just started. It’s easy to surmise or guess what has happened but until there is a formal announcement surely it is best to wait and see.

Disgusting from Newcastle but no real shock there well known for treating riders poorly

Utter bollocks from the usual culprit.

Usual defence of a disgusting action not surprised you have no shame though.. must get easier the more times you treat people like crap...

Please enlighten us to times when the Diamonds have treated other riders like this.
