paddyboimacc
whats going on with chris holder's form. not as dominant as he once was. does anyone think he deserves a wildcard spot if doesn't make the top 8. will he ever recapture the 2012 form he once enjoyed. PHILIPRISING
NO he doesn't and I doubt whether Chris thinks so either. Has much going on his life off the track along with his injury after winning the World title and what happened to his best friend Darcy. Hopefully he might get things sorted during the winter and make a comeback.

My point about the lights as opposed to a clock, is EVERYONE (not just the riders)can/would see the lights(hence no confusion over exclusions) and it will/would add to the atmosphere........ imo! waytogo28
Nothing that the paying punters have been made aware of has been changed, but those "in the know" are fully informed it seems.
Grand Central
NOTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE just a few riders need to understand one of the fundamental.principles of the sport from down the years. Be at the tapes and be 100% ready to race when the 2 minutes expires. And you will NOT be excluded. Bugger about as it expires and you cannot have that certainty. It's your risk. States it all really. Perhaps Saturday nights fiasco resulting in 1 exclusion would have more effect if all 4 had been excluded. I say that because in a later race even more time was wasted and it went unpunished.
eric i
When the clock hit 0.00 there were 3 riders not at the tapes.

Again, being "at the tapes" isn't the point; they need to be "ready to race". If you look closely at Greg on the inside, he wasn't actually ready either! bruno
Il have to check but I'm sure in heat 17 the riders weren't all ready at 00 either Edited September 13, 2018 by bruno

OveFundinFan
Saturdays heat 16 episode would be more palatable if 1) the riders were warned (that after such a slack application of the rules) the rule on 2 min and be ready to race is being tightened (they may have been warned, we don't know) 2) the application of the rule was consistent (which it wasn't even in that meeting) Edited September 13, 2018 by OveFundinFan
Grand Central
If the riders were truly ready to race no one would have been excluded. That is all they needed to be. It is that simple. Edited September 13, 2018 by Grand Central 3

Your are correct Hancock had the nerve to say in SS that he was not surprised Woffy got excluded as he was ready with 2 SECONDS TO SPARE.The riders need to get a grip most of them are there with a minute to go then start playing silly games.
